In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it news blast, Polyphony Digital has confirmed a new Gran Turismo Sport update is coming later this week.
The notice arrived in-game earlier today. While it covers what sounds like fairly standard server maintenance, it also adds that a new game version will arrive alongside. The full text is below:
At the following time, we will perform maintenance on the ‘Gran Turismo Sport’ servers. A new game update will also be available after the maintenance. Please note that during this time the online services, including [Sport Mode], will not be available.

February 7th, 2019: 04:00 – 06:00 UTC

Without the typical, shadowy teaser from Kazunori Yamauchi, or a trailer, it’s unlikely the update will feature substantial amounts of new content. Besides, the most recent v1.32 update only landed two weeks ago. It’s likely this update will focus on small fixes instead. Nonetheless, stay tuned to GTPlanet and our dedicated GT Sport forums for any surprises it may hold.
