If you’re unable to make it out to China or Japan during the times the game will be displayed during the summer months, and you just happen to be a UK resident, you too will have an opportunity to try the game for yourself on the show floor of EGX this September.
Held at The NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham, England, the event will take place from the 22nd to the 25th of September. For those that may have forgotten, this will be the second time the game has been shown off in the UK since its official unveiling at the Copper Box Arena in London, England earlier this year. The announcement was made on the official EGX Twitter page.

The next major gaming event is Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, opening on the 17th of August. Unfortunately, like the year prior, Sony have decided to forego the event. This leaves Paris Games Week, where the game was originally revealed. The event runs from the 23rd to the 31st of October.
Interestingly, this year’s EGX takes place several days after the Tokyo Games Show and while neither Polyphony Digital or Sony have confirmed (or denied) they’ll be attending the event, it stands to reason that the game will appear in some capacity on its home turf.
If you’re planning to drop by EGX because you missed out on the GT Sport event at the Copper Box in May, or you simply can’t get enough of the game, don’t forget to share your experiences in our Gran Turismo Sport sub-forum.
Australia pls
I think GT Sport will become GT7 (all but name) and GT7 will end up being renamed GT8.
No
A note for all you Americans – Birmingham is not in London! lol
First paragraph refers to “EGX London”…
Second paragraph refers to it being at the NEC in Birmingham…
rofl
It was a typo. You could have pointed it out without the “for all you Americans” remark.
Sorry Michael. Of course it was a typo. That was a silly comment to make.
I wasn’t trying to cause any offence but obviously did so I apologise.
Anyways, on topic, seems like they are promoting the new game heavily with all these public gameplay events all over the world. Will be interesting to see if there are any developments in this build of the game when people get to play it.
YESSSSS I LOVE THIS
Dont get your hopes up. Last year at EGX, the queue to play star wars was 2.5 hours. for a 5 minute play. Way too many people in the nec, you spend all the day queuing up and very little time gaming.
Lemme just be the first in the comment section to say this is great! Love the news thats coming out for this game and i cant wait to hear more! No, like i really want to hear more! So far away!
