Polyphony Digital has announced that tickets for the 2024 Gran Turismo World Final in Amsterdam, running from December 6-8, are now on sale.
It’s the culmination of the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series, with the last of live events before the World Final taking place right now, and it’s going to return to some familiar ground.
Not only will Amsterdam be hosting an event for the second successive year, the Final itself will revisit the venue used for the 2023 World Series Showdown — which also saw the live premiere of the Gran Turismo movie.
That means a return to the waterfront location of Theater Amsterdam, which sits overlooking the IJ river — making it a rare venue where you can not only travel there by car, bike, and public transport, but by boat too.
It sports a 45,000 square-foot auditorium, with theater-style seating for around 800 people in the configuration used for the Showdown last year and likely the World Finals this year too.
Rather than the compact single-day events of the preliminary rounds, the World Finals will be spread across three evenings.
The action begins with the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup — a traditional indicator of form in the finals — on Friday December 6, with the Manufacturers Cup on Saturday December 7, and the Nations Cup rounding things out on Sunday December 8. While the first two are scheduled to run from 7-9pm local time, Nations will begin and end a little earlier at 4-6pm.
There are three grades of ticket available, beginning with the standard General Admission ticket at €15 (~$17) that grants you access to any one event in standard seating only. A Gold ticket comes in at €30 ($33), and offers pre-allocated seating for any one event and a special event t-shirt.
Finally there’s the Platinum ticket costing €50 ($56) which comes with premium seating, the t-shirt, and a Gran Turismo event tote bag as well as admission to all three days of the event.
The Platinum ticket option is the only one available to buy right now, with Gold and GA tickets becoming available on Friday October 4. Be warned that two of the three events this season sold out pretty quickly, so you may want to decide sooner rather than later!
