Like I said before PD probably maxed out the PS3, so the important thing is the driving realism.

for what i’ve seen on videos, when it’s rainning it rains too strong, not a drizzle, or a shower, it rains like hell, and you can barely see

I got the game yesterday and the only thing that i will have to “complain” about is the graphics, not that they are bad! not at all! BUT its almost exactly like prolouge! and after seeing the youtubs videos and pictures of the game i was a little dissapointed, but only alittle :) otherwise the game is AWESOME! the feel of the game is just wonderful! the favourite car right now is the hommel berlinette :P it goes like a go cart with tuning! 270bhp right now. My skyline r32 gtr N1 isnt that bad either with 533 bhp :P

why does the hand move down to shift?, thought it had paddle shift

Noticed te same thing. He’s into a Ferrari F430, for sure, and as far as I know, there’s no way to change gears other than paddle shifter. Odd.
The F430 had a standard gearbox as optional. I’ve only seen a couple with them actually equipped, but nonetheless…
Last night of work till I race this game…My PS3 finally gets some heat built up in it! GT5p, NFS:shift, F1 2010, they all will pay homage to this milestone! Oh yea forza 2 had me for a while, but Xbox doesn’t support the good driving wheels, and forza 3 absolutely blew. So here we go!!!
I’ve seen many comments saying GT5 will beat Forza3 in every aspect except driving physics. Would you agree on that? My point is, I’ve watched several Forza3 vids on YouTube, and I’ve noticed, for example: you turn to the right, the front of the car will turn to the right, of course. BUT the rear end will also sway to the left at that moment – it looks absolutey ridiculous to me. So, how can F3 physics be better than GT’s ???
They aren’t. Only a handful of rabid fanboys consider Forza’s physics even decently realistic.
i think im going to have a hard time concentrating with those wipers moving so fast. I can just chance the view bt i love that view.

Ive not watched any vids other than the E3 one. So everything will be a surprise to me. Going to go pick up my TV tomorrow from best buy….good times ahead.
Notice the detail when turning corners the rain runs off the other way ! Can’t wait ! GT Playseat, G27 Should be arriving this week as well as my signature edition GT5.

There aren’t any water on the side windows. I think Dirt 2 has it. Nonetheless, this is very good. I wonder how it looks like on the outside, during replay.
close… the wipers don’t show the effects of the g-forces. They should react differently in terms of speeds when accelerating, braking and turning. Can’t believe PD would make this big an error, first the veyron, and now this!!!!!!! Totally never buying GT5 at alll11!!!!111!!

Jordan, are there any vids out there of DS3 use? I know we have seen and heard alot about the G27 and G25 and clutches etc… but for the average guy who has a DualShock 3, any vids of it? Presuming it will be like the TT demo yeah?

@UCLA’09. Come on now. Look at the video from 1:35-1:57. You will clearly see that as the car turns left more water hits the drivers side window. Now that is uber cool! The video shows the water being pushed off the windshield, droplets hit the air and via the wind hit the drivers side window. Doesn’t get more real than that.
