After teasing a special login bonus campaign for Gran Turismo 7 over the 2024-2025 festive period during last weekend’s Gran Turismo World Series broadcast, Polyphony Digital has now confirmed the rewards and requirements.
It’s a very familiar-looking affair, as — at least from what we know so far — it looks as if it’ll be virtually identical to the similar event in 2023.
The campaign comprises two stages, which run from 0000 UTC on Sunday December 15 to 2359 UTC on Wednesday December 25, and then 0000 UTC on Thursday December 26 to 2359 UTC on Sunday January 5. These are dubbed the “Holiday Season” and “New Year” Login Campaigns respectively.
As the name might suggest, all you need to do to earn the rewards is log into Gran Turismo 7 during the campaign period. You can do this any way you wish: on your PlayStation console or on any device that supports Remote Play — including the PlayStation Portal.
There’s one reward available for each individual day that you log in during each of the two stages, with a maximum of five rewards (for five separate days logged in) in each of the almost eleven-day stages. You don’t need to log in on successive days either.
Polyphony Digital has confirmed the five rewards for the Holiday Season Login Campaign, and they are as follows:
2024 Holiday Season Login Campaign Rewards
- Day 1 – Six-Star (Parts) Roulette Ticket
- Day 2 – 100,000cr Ticket
- Day 3 – Six-Star (Engine) Roulette Ticket
- Day 4 – Five-Star Roulette Ticket
- Day 5 – 250,000cr Ticket
As it so happens, these are identical to the rewards given out in the same campaign in 2023. That means that, although the New Year Login Campaign rewards haven’t yet been confirmed, we can expect them to be as they were in 2023 (Edit 26/12: And indeed they are!)
2024 New Year Login Campaign Rewards
- Day 1 – Six-Star (Parts) Roulette Ticket
- Day 2 – Four-Star Roulette Ticket
- Day 3 – Six-Star (Engine) Roulette Ticket
- Day 4 – 200,000cr Ticket
- Day 5 – Five-Star Roulette Ticket
In total that would amount to around a million credits and about half that in terms of savings for items you receive for free instead of buying — though the nature of the roulette tickets means it may be a little more in both cases.
While that’s not necessarily going to boost long-terms players all that much — and even so, something is better than nothing — it would be handy for new players coming to Gran Turismo 7 off the back of the free My First Gran Turismo demo and the discount for the full title running through to the end of the year.
