Win a Trip to Tokyo Auto Salon by Designing GReddy’s Hiace Livery in Gran Turismo 7

Aftermarket parts manufacturer Trust, and its GReddy sub-brand, is running a special livery competition in Gran Turismo 7 which will award one chosen winner a trip to the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Although it doesn’t explicitly state on the Trust website, we’re going to assume that the competition is open only to players resident in Japan — particular as the entry form has a section for stating your Prefecture — so bear that in mind if you choose to enter.

The concept of the contest is actually pretty simple. GReddy wants you to design a livery for its Hiace van, using Gran Turismo 7’s recently added version (and not the HiMedic!) as your medium. There’s a few obvious stipulations, in that you’ll be required not to use anything logos trademarked by other parties, other copyrighted materials, anything illegal, or — with curious specificity — anime characters.

One thing you will be required to use is the GReddy logo as supplied in a linked Google Drive folder. There’s four to choose from, in plain black, plain white, and incorporating the Trust colors, but you’re not permitted to change the shape or aspect ratio of the logo.

Other than that, you can do what you like to the Hiace’s livery for your design. You’ll need to share it in-game, and ensure that it’s set so it cannot be edited. After that you’ll have to submit your design through a special Google form, which also requires you to take and upload six screenshots: front, left profile, right profile, rear, roof, and front-left.

Along with the chosen design earning the winner a trip to the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon, it’ll also be converted into a wrap for the real thing which will be on display at the Trust booth at the event. The winner and two “excellence award” runners-up will also receive some unspecified GReddy goodies.

You’ll have until December 6 to submit your design for the competition, and Tokyo Auto Salon will run from Friday January 10 to Sunday January 12, 2025.
