Work on the third issue of the popular grass-roots “GTlife” magazine (the first two issues received over 230,000 collective downloads) is now complete!
This issue features car reviews, a stunning collection of GT5 Photomode images, and a closer look at how you can make the transition from “sim” racer to “real” racer, even on the smallest budget. As always, the magazine is completely free, so you’ve got no reason not to check it out:
If you’re new to GTlife, be sure to check out Issue 1 and Issue 2 as well.
Once again, congratulations to all the volunteers who work on GTlife in their free time, including GTlife’s creator and editor, Schwadegan! If you’d like to help, contribute, or submit feedback on the project, head over to their forum topic and drop them a line.
Great job on this mag! Hope to see issue 4 soon.
I’ve got PLENTY of GT5 pics if the mag may need some.
Keep it up.
funny just a few days ago i wondered there will be a 3rd part of GTlife or not? and here it s
thank you to all who participated in this u guys rocks!
Just a notice, you don’t need to upgrade the ECU and Engine on the Gallardo to bring it up to 562, just changing the oil on a brand new car will bring power up to 563 (1 more than ECU + Engine Stage 1)
they’re fine, don’t worry about it..haterz gunna hate :P
Good to see my bro make it to the magazine, but the title of his article was too plain-jane lol.
That wasn’t even the title I put it as lol. Probably just to coincide with the LFA review on the pages before.
Now, I need to work on some more articles myself…I know in my mind what to do already.
COOL
No thanks… first two issues put me off.
Yeah. There are just too many factual errors in these magazines to really enjoy them.
@crcn11 What about them didn’t you like? I’m always looking for constructive criticism to improve my efforts with this project.
@hot_shoe Before the release of each issue we try to find people who have the time and skills required to correct and proofread all the articles. So far only a handful of GTP members have been able to contribute to this, and they can not alone go through and fix all the mistakes in every magazine since it’s rather tedious work. If you’d want to help us point out any factual errors in the next one before released, please send me a PM. I’d appreciate your help.
Nice to see LimeRock and SCCA NER @ devens in the pictures.
:) That’s where these pics were taken. Devens was a Renegade Miata event though…!
off topic but ……
Yes or no, tell me what you think…
Things I would like to see on the next update……..
Make it possible to paint al the standard rims on the cars (there are cars how have really nice rims but it’s not possible to paint those that I think is A fault in the game.)
In the garage menu make it possible to save the settings in the menu. (now you have to set every time you start the game the settings in my garage menu , please make it possible to save those settings.)
close the roof on the Ferrari California ( the car looks so much better with the roof closed, but to enable that now you need to put A wing on the car and I don’t like wings on cars.)
make possible to delete DLC and other gift cars out of the garage. ( I have karts and other DLC cars in my garage but I don’t use them at all, but I can’t delete our sell them please make it possible to delete those cars from my garage.)
make it possible to sell all cars in the game.(there are cars in the game how you can’t sell at all, please fix this and give al cars A resell price..)
Prof. Oak told me to give you this message “It’s not the right time to use that”.
Nice read…what would be cool is that if this started becoming official or more frequent with help from Pd maybe. They could have a section like a blog monthly on what PD does or any plans and alos it could be a cool place to advertise tuners, photographers and even race series. Big potential here.
This was awesome. Thank you for the gift!
This is bada$$ work, I’m lovin this. :D Well done guys. :)
Outstanding work guys! =)
Well done folks!!!
Nothing interesting for me in there
Thanks for the cover, Schwadegan.
And for the LF-A articles.
Actually, thanks for all my shots that you included in this issue, It feels GOOD…
that title font, ouch.
I think it looks good. Nothing fancy.
I think as a title font is is out of place. It just seems while the font does a very good job with title and text, the bold text just doesn’t do the same job.
It is probably coupled with
a. Choice of Font
b. Spacial Issues
c. Size of Text
The title does not have to be fancy like a production magazine, although it would be nice tho have something a bit more substantial, noticeable and easy on the eyes
Gonna read this when I’m on my pc next. Can’t wait. Keep up the good work.
Whoa, nice!
This Magazine is going better and better
Keep up the good work!
PS: IS that orange murcielago picture photshop? i mean the one where you only see the back and surface is all covered in water and moisture, is that purely gt5?
Nope, that was done in photoshop by Spark_GTP. You can see the full size here:

That’s actually a Lexus LF-A.
Pretty sure Spark photographed a Murcielago dude. I think he did add the water droplets to it.
Also, thanks for including my Camaro shot in this issue!
Whoops, I thought you meant the pic on this page. Looking through the mag, I see what you’re talking about. My mistake.
It looks like I’ve got some catching up to do!
The last few months have not been kind to my electronics, first my PS3 YLOD’d on me, then the motherboard on my PC died. Thus I’m way behind on gaming and info. I liked the first one so I will be reading the others now barring some other electronic curse.
Oh yeah, Happy Holidays Everyone!!!
very nice lads, See you all in 2012…
Keep up the good work, looks great.
Happy Christmas and a happy new year!!
