GTPlanet Goes #AcrossTheHorizon with Xbox in Canada: Vote on What We Do Next

The Forza Horizon 3 demo has just gone live for Xbox One, weighing in at a little over 18GB. The celebrations aren’t over, as Xbox Canada is spending the next two weeks travelling across the country doing events inspired by what’s possible in Playground Games’ latest open-world racer.

#AcrossTheHorizon kicks off in Vancouver today, and wraps up in Montreal right in time for the game’s September 27 release. GTPlanet has been invited to join in the festivities, and we’ll be posting our first-hand experiences with the game and the events as they’re completed. The community will have a say in which events are done at each leg of the tour, and that’s where you, the readers, come in.

Up first in British Columbia are two options. Option A involves taking a Jeep Wrangler up Mount Baldy during sunset to capture a 360-degree view of the Okanogan Valley. Option B trades climbing rocks for a climbing speedometer, with a McLaren 650S Spider cutting loose on a wide-open airfield.

As mentioned, we’ll be doing whichever event garners the most votes on Twitter and Instagram. To cast your vote, tweet at Xbox Canada using the #AcrossTheHorizon hashtag on Twitter followed by either “A” or “B”. On Instagram, you can cast your vote on the image below with the same type of comment:

Each stop will see another two options to vote on, and we’ll let you know what they are as we arrive at the destinations. Stay tuned for reports from leg of the tour, including photos and videos from our adventures.
