GTPlanet GT Sport Photo Mode Competition 18 Now Open

Le Mans may be the big story this weekend, but our latest GT Sport photo competition is looking to the game’s native land for its theme.

The livery editor plays an essential role this week, so be prepared to either hunt down some designs or build your own. Before that, though, there’s the small matter of the last theme’s poll to attend to…

PMC 17 Poll Now Open

The last theme was the fun “Contrarian Effect”. GTPlanet member Snake55wildcat was the judge, and he decreed this would be a theme all about contrast. A new car in an old location, flowing lines amidst square buildings — the theme was intentionally open to interpretation, allowing our community to stretch its creative muscles.

The results of that mental workout are in, and now we need you, the reader, to vote on the best image:

This Week’s Theme

As we teased earlier, this week’s theme is embracing one of the most well-known Japanese exports. No, not PlayStation-exclusive sim racers themselves — we’re talking anime. Community member ShadowPeter explains:

“I’m really a fan of animes. So this time pick up any Japanese car with any anime livery in any Japanese location! Optional: Put a special phrase about your favorite anime.”

CARS: Any Japanese car(s)
LIVERIES: Any anime livery
LOCATIONS: Suzuka, Tokyo, or Tsukuba
SCAPES: Any Japanese location
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: See above
