Slightly Mad Studios is changing things up for this week’s new Project CARS 2 Community Event. Going in a totally different direction from previous events, players will have to channel their inner Ken Block to put in a fast time.
Featuring the beastly Olsbergs MSE RX Supercar Lite, the challenge takes place at the DirtFish Boneyard Course. This circuit is one of the most unique in the game, offering tight turns through a rural setting uncommon in the genre. Nailing handbrake turns is a must as you navigate through barns and tight winding country roads.
Unlike most challenges, I was having so much fun just throwing around the car without even thinking of the time being set. This is a different experience to the usual Community Event so be sure to give it a go.
Driving conditions are clear and tuning is also allowed if you want to tweak the RX Lite’s setup. As a small track, top times right now are coming round at under 43 seconds. Not only will a high level of car control be required but you’ll also have to stop yourself from getting carried away. This is a fun combo for everyone, even those not trying to compete at the top.
