Switch owners, rejoice: another racing game is arriving on Nintendo’s hybrid console in a matter of months. Isle of Man TT: Ride on the Edge will bring two-wheel fun to Switch May 23.
Kylotonn’s bike racer launched just over a year ago on PS4, XB1 and PC. As the name implies, it recreates the entire, massive 37.73-mile Snaefell Mountain circuit. Players will need to master the Mountain’s 264 corners, while consistently hitting 190mph or more on the straights linking them.
Like the earlier versions of Ride on the Edge, the Switch port will feature nine fictional circuits. It also includes 40 official bikes and 23 riders.
A single-player Career Mode will lead players on a journey to win the Tourist Trophy, unlocking new bikes along the way. Heading online, riders can face off against up to seven other racers.
Kylotonn and publisher BigBen Interactive haven’t yet confirmed whether all of the game’s post-launch content — like the sidecar DLC — will also be available on Switch. We’ll know for sure closer to May 23, when the game will arrive in physical and digital forms.
