This weekend, Jann Mardenborough returns to Silverstone, the place where his professional racing career started almost exactly one short year ago.
Jann and his teammates, Chris Ward and Alex Buncombe, are competing in the second round of the Blancpain Endurance Series at the famous British circuit. Unfortunately, with a large grid of 50 other cars, the team was not able to get a clear lap for their Nissan GT-R GT3, and will be starting 34th overall and 23rd in their class.
The 3-hour endurance race kicks off Saturday at 12:45 GMT, and GTPlanet’s own blog editor, Famine, is on hand for the event. Stay tuned for his full report!
Meanwhile, GT Academy winners Lucas Ordoñez and Jordan Tresson have just arrived in Le Mans, France, working with their respective teams in preparation for the 24-hour race ahead of them in just two weeks. The first test session takes place this weekend, and will be Jordan Tresson’s first time out on the Circuit de la Sarthe. Good luck, guys!

This is mental, but on my phone screen, for a couple of seconds I seriously thought that picture of the Nissan prototype car was from GT5. I was going a bit nuts thinking “When Are awe Getting That?!?”
Same. You aren’t the only one who was getting excited. Then I realised it was real… damn…
^ “Then I realized it was real…”
Close enough.
The language we speak is called “English” not “American” for a reason you know…
