So, what’s the point of these seasonals again? I did a Lamborghini cup as part of my A-spec, I am A spec level 40 and I have a maximum of 20 million credits.

I thought the idea of these seasonals was to add depth, imagination and variety to an under developed single player content?

    It appears not so.

  2. CallmeDan

What a surprise. The Nissan PAOs and their ugly FF hatchback friends are on the top of the leaderboards in the drift trials once again. Kaz, fix your game.

It may be Lamborghini but they still insist on the low PP levels. Shame :(
Anyways I’ve not been playing much GT recently as I’ve been playing the BRILLIANT Racedriver Grid, and while on there I did a comparison. Nurburgring GP/F in an Audi R10 TDI (with no ABS) on Grid managed a 1:27 but on GT (with ABS) I could only manage a 1:54. HOW? This is baffling, how can the same car on the same track be so different? I mean I much prefer the Grid version of the GP/F as it’s so much easier than the GT versionbut 27 seconds. I think I’d believe that the Grid version is more realistic, but has anyone else played both and agree?

May I suggest that you transport your Audi A10 to Germany and put in some real laps? Seriously… These are games (or Sims) made of bits and bytes.

Up to you to decide which game you enjoy most. Personally, I dig GT for it’s content and comrade.

I wonder if PD/SONY had some short of fallout between them.

Either way, more competition for GT series. Means they’ll constantly have to up their game rather than just sitting alone at the top. Especially since both will be on PS4.

Aced time trial #56 with my Lambo Gallardo for gold and with my Subaru Impreza wrx sti 10 for gold on the Alaska snow track for a million credits on both tracks. No aids except for abs. Was ranked at 137 and 148 yesterday.

Wow, is this a GT6 thread? Or is it about a seasonal event? Anywho… another Lambo event to do. Where’s the pre (or post) chicane Group C/JGT events? 90s GT1 (sans GTOne) event? The PDLM/GT stuff? ’99 to 03 GT?

Is there some sort of contractual obligation with Lamborghini? What are you trying to say?… Put down the controller and wait for GT6? PS4?

At least we aren’t seeing that Aspec/Bspec rotation we had a while back. But I agree, we do need some more variety in the Seasonal department. As TT’s go, this is a good one; but next week I would love to race a GT300 event.

    2. ScotteDawg

What we need is for PD to stop doing the full race seasonal events the way they have been.
Seriously, starting in last EVERY race? Only 12 cars on the track when they can do 16?
And a 5 lap race that you can win on the 3rd lap… WTF???
They need to fix the AI drivers – or cars- so that they’re more competative!!

    1. JeremiahTB

No, you can’t. The PS4 hasn’t been released yet, so I would think that whole system is unplayable by the gamers.

  6. DynamikGT

They brought this out on the 20th anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s death. I wonder if they timed it like that on purpose, if so that’s pretty cool :) what better way to celebrate his legacy than to thrash a few of his creations.

  7. Pvig73

Third Lambo seasonal although just time & drift trials. Should be fun but frustrating as I just can’t get a Lambo to handle right apart from the Miura.

  8. wnw65

Forget DLC, forget GT5. PD are focusing on PS4 and the next generation of GT. They only keep you interested in GT5 by announcing site maintenance and patches and then we all hope for new things in GT5. RIP GT5 rock on GTNextGen.

@steebz Hey “I want GT6 on PS3” dreamer, got over yourself yet? Don’t make me laugh more like last time. >:)

  9. 2012GT325

How about a hint (at least) for new content/DLC for GT5 and info on GT6? Come on PD/Sony, I got the money and need you to get the system and game out as fast as possible.

    1. ScotteDawg

Actually, they ARE getting it out as fast as possible!
PD are keeping any details they have on GT6 to themselves because they don’t want the competition to make something better!
And who cares about the Vita? If you buy a PS4, you’ll be able to play GT6 on your phone, tablet, laptop, notebook, PC and maybe even your refrigerator!
