After last week’s Thanksgiving inspired events, Forzathon turns it’s eye to giving you some more cash to spend on the 300+ cars in-game, as well as a 30% discount on every one of them. This week’s events are as easy as they come and you won’t have to worry about finding a game of Infected or hoping those in online adventure choose a class that isn’t based around hypercars — all events can be done without the multiplayer aspect of the game.
The 3 challenges you’ll be tasked with in ‘Black Friday Blowout’ are:
- While They Last: Complete Any Event to receive 80,000 CR
- Spend Money, Make Money: Spend 200,00 CR to unlock 3 Wheelspins
- Instant Rebate: Win 1 auction to receive 50,000 CR
This means in total you can earn 330,00 CR for some relatively easy tasks that won’t require much effort. Looking at the challenges in terms of difficulty, the one most likely to pose any sort of issue is Instant Rebate as it requires you to win an auction against other players. That being said, find an unpopular car and this should be simple enough. Just spend as little as possible to maximize profit.
The prizes this week don’t quite match the Silvia K’s or the Warthog in previous weeks but the difficulty doesn’t really merit a unicorn car. One thing is for certain, we could all do with some more cash during the festive period so it’s good to see Playground doing their bit to help keep us afloat during the Horizon Festival.
