Another batch of teaser screenshots – this time from Polyphony’s site – show a few more details of the new MINI Clubman Vision GT car.

As noted before, the all-wheel-drive car will produce 395hp and top out at 180mph. There’s still no official word on whether the car will be joining Midfield Raceway and B-Spec mode in GT6 update 1.16, but we’ll find out soon enough…!

Check out the design sketches and first leaked screenshots for more details.

Hey, new idea, what if we’re getting 2 versions. Petrol and electric. Makes sense, couse the one car is red (with fuel filler) and the other one green (with electric plug-in). Also it is “vision” of what we can expect from Mini in the future. I think they even said there’s gonna be electric Mini in this generation.

Soon enough might mean as early as tomorrow, considering PDI just announced a scheduled maintenance period between 3 & 5 EST tomorrow the 26th. And well we all know what a maintenance usually means.

Is that an electric plug point in the rear passenger window? Anone else notice the dual exhaust coming out of the other side passenger rear (see earlier posts)? That has me intrigued….
i really like the VGT project but this car doesn’t really do it for me..(probably because it still looks like a modern mini).. nicest thing about it are the alloys.. Its a small thing but it would be nice if we could use some of the wheels from the VGTS. .. some of them are incredible

Unless I’m very much mistaken, that’s a racing fuel filler point. Seems to be on both sides too. The exhaust would appear to take a conservative mid-rear egress position.

Interesting… is there a need or benefit in having fueling points on both sides? (other than it making it easier for the pit crew on different track)… and why would you put a single one on one side (with a cap?) and a dual on the other side?

I hope that you can tune it, because the majority of the VGT’s can’t be, and I never use them as a result…

Interesting indeed, as looking back at the concept drawings they appear to contradict where the fuel goes in. One photo shows on the right hand side, another photo (taken from the rear) shows only left hand side.

From what my old eyes could see, where the fuel filler could be seen, on either side, they are both dual filler. Fairly easy to see when one blows up the photo, unless of course I’m seeing double…

If indeed it does have the capability of filling from either side, it would make life easier for the pit crew, and that would be the only reason I can think of for having such a layout.

However, at this stage, it’s a bit difficult to say with any certainty where the fuel goes in!

This next update is looking pretty good! I am also happy that lately there has been new articles about upcoming content every time I drop by.

The update 1.16 became the most important update for GT6 because it have 3 VGT, B-Spec mode and a “new” track

Right.. Midfield and B-Spec will definitely be on V1.16 but I have no idea about the release schedule of the 3 VGT cars…
