PD needs to put more Aspec events like GT5 had. Thay also need to get rid of drift alltogether. So I get to pick from 2 Aspec events which I dont like. guess I’ll have to wait till next batch :[

@TeamCRZRacing I guess some people are stuck in the mindset of “If it isn’t fast it’s pointless”

I don’t do many drift events, (I’m rubbish) but if you go to any popular video site and tap in GT drifting, you may see some amazing things. I’m all up for some more creative (like xmas) seasonals though. PD should use all aspects of the game, like fuel, tyre wear, damage* weather and time of day. They made all the effort to put them in the game then ignore them for the most part of the game and the seasonals so far. Surely it can’t be that hard to offer us imaginative challenges (and features) that would see us through to GT7?

“I think one of the most beautiful things a driver or a spectator can experience in racing is a four wheel drift through a constant radius bend like in turn two.” – Pete Brock

I don’t dig drifting at all. Why? Because I suck at it. It’s time consuming and useless, unless you’re attempting to woo some chick wide eyed chick standing at curbside. I’m married so I have no use for them and I don’t swing the other way ;)

Nontheless, drifting has been a part of the game before I even knew what the hell it was. So I don’t have a problem with PD putting their Japanese spin on what has become an integral part of what extreme driving is about.

Maybe, if PD would include a tutorial… totally not interested in browsing through endless pages of tuning posts. I tune mine own whips… thank you very much ;)

^ I totally understand. I used to be great at drifting then something happened with GT6. New physics, tire model, suspension set-up?, I don’t know. When 6 was new I tried to drift the first few seasonals and could barely get bronze. Now I’m usually a first try gold. No heavy tuning required. Comfort hards, full customized tranny set to lowest speed in automatic and let it rip. No camber, toe, or whatever. Simple but effective. Use the Mercedes VGT for non race cars and the racing version for the racing ones. The M4 works good too.

No real challenge here, rally was a joke for expert level, did we really need another willow spring’s event ? come on, there more track’s out there, getting bored with same old repeat.

I’ll try various other car’s, tesla, trams am and ford focus, i used :) thx eran lol. might just try that :p

  3. Sick Cylinder

I really enjoyed trying the new seasonals today – good variety: hybrid, muscle cars and rally cars. The last two I will enjoy repeating.

I am currently playing nascar 14 (2.99 euro on psn),some bug but very fun ,nice graphics, hard (HARD FINALLY) opponents and excellent simulation.
    I recommend it ;)

I really don’t get why they can’t add more variety, including the new type of events we got from holiday season…

Like one survival, one overtaking challenge, one drift, two a-spec, one superlap… Pick 3 different each week…

Oh I’d love to do some “economy runs”… Like from the coffee breaks….

But it actually seems those seasonals where a christmas miracle…!

    1. gabe331

Exactly what we need! agree with you, also they could give us the option to control arcade the way we want, use our custom cars as opponents from 1 to 16, and make the profesional difficulty challenging just like in the survival events… and this isnt something they cant provide, same goes for more weather control and tyre wear , just like the online lobbies

    2. thegt500

      +2
Looks like the Christmas events were sadly a one off deal. You’d have thought the positive comments on them would have been taken notice of, but as usual, they fell on deaf ears at PD !
And rallying, GT6 has not got the physics right for dirt and snow surfaces IMHO. There’s no real ‘feel’ for what the car is doing as opposed to what a real 4WD car is like on these surfaces.
I too agree with gabe331 comments but would also add GRID STARTS !!!! We have them in online lobbies and in quick match, why not in the seasonals and especially in arcade mode ? The only way you can practice standing starts is online, which frankly laughable for a racing sim. Is this how they train their driver from GT Academy in real life ???? I dont think so !!

    1. Audi_MTM

Rally, great. Love it. Personally I would like more rally seasonals on snow and dirt. More challenging. And this time I checked the ASM that it is OFF. :D
