An official announcement about the launch of Nacon’s new Revosim racing peripheral range has been made, a year after the initial announcement. The “Pure” Direct Drive wheelbase and steering wheel will be the first to be released, with more accessories to come.
First deliveries of the opening salvo of the Revosim product line are set to get underway next month, comprising the 9Nm base, steering wheel, pedal set, and two bundles of wheel/base with or without the pedals. There are also racing gloves available in three sizes: medium, large, and extra-large.
The pricing is competitive, with the full three-item bundle costing €799.90/£699.90. US market prices have not yet been announced, though there’s probably a good reason for that. The wheel and base bundle is €/£100 cheaper, while buying the pieces separately is €/£100 more.
We spoke to Nacon’s Sebastien Waxin during the Big Ben Week event last week about the Revosim project. “It’s a natural move for us to do sim racing stuff,” he told us, “because we’ve done for many, many, many years now racing games, we’ve done for very long time gaming accessories, so at some point we’ll say, okay, there is something missing in the middle and we need to do some sim racing accessories. So this is where and why we created Revosim.”
Nacon plans to offer a full range of sim-racing equipment, not just to enter the crowded Direct Drive PC wheel market. At the event, they showcased handbrake and gearbox add-ons, and a clutch pedal for the pedal set, which will be part of the Pure starter range and available in October.
The clutch has the same design and adjustability as the other pedals and uses a Hall effect sensor. The handbrake is ideal for rally fans, as Nacon has regained the WRC license, and has a load cell rated to 150kg.
Most intriguing is the “Hybrid Shifter”, which can switch from sequential to H-pattern with a 6+2 setup (the +2 coming by way of two more positions that can be selected by lifting a locking ring) that allows for seven forward gears and reverse if need be. Prices are yet to be confirmed for these three items, however.

“We’ve been working on the Revosim project for three, four years now,” adds Waxin, “thinking about the products and everything, and the vision that we have is the ecosystem with everything compatible with everything. So let’s say that first we will release the bundle… but while working on that, we say, okay, what do we need right after that?
“Because we don’t want to promise the ecosystem and deliver the products like two, three years after. So May we release the first product, and then October we release a handbrake, gearbox, clutch pedal, maybe another rim for the steering wheel. We’re trying to think about everything and deliver fast.”
That of course teases some of the future expansion of the Revosim range too, with another wheel rim planned. Nacon hasn’t revealed much on this “Mono” rim just yet, but it will also be in the Pure range and resembles the plastic blank we were shown in 2024: a GT-style, flat-bottomed yoke wheel.

Revosim is also looking to stand apart from the busy PC DD wheel market with value for money too, and on a quick spin on the wheel in Endurance Motorsport Series it didn’t feel like any corners were being cut.
“The idea is to work on the value for money that you will get when you will buy the Revosim product,” says Waxin. “So first, the ecosystem is important because not all brands are building the full ecosystem like that with intercompatibility and everything.
“And then we want to hit the best price possible for the quality of the product that we have. so for example, the pedal set is fully metal. We include also some accessories that maybe some other brands are not including.
“The desktop mount is included in every accessory that we sell… the base, for example, is a 9Nm base, so you need a strong desktop mount. But it will be the same for the shifter, the gearbox, and the handbrake that we will have, the clamps will be included in the box as well. We think about what people really need to use the products and not necessarily having to buy like separate accessories.”
For now, the products are PC-only, but this may change. “There is nothing, let’s say, confirmed or announced and everything,” Waxin notes. “But the idea is that at Nacon we have very good relationships with the first-party manufacturers, Sony and Microsoft. So, of course we are evaluating the possibility to arrive at that market.”
You can pre-order your Revosim wheel now on the Nacon website, if you are in the UK and Europe.
