EA has revealed the achiements/trophies players will be aiming to achieve in this winter’s Need for Speed Payback. Posted on the official game’s website, the list details the type of tasks Payback will require you to complete. The list is 33 achievements long, keeping a further 20 hidden until release.
Need for Speed Payback boasts a varied feature list and this is represented in the achievement list. Players will be tasked with earning reputation, restoring derelict cars, drifting and everything in between. The list includes tasks assembled from the core story alongside multiplayer and solo challenges. Compared to the tame list in Need for Speed 2015, this certainly appears to be more of a challenge.

- The Ultimate Payback: Collect All Trophies. (Platinum)
- Training Wheels Off: Reach Rep Level 2. (10G/Bronze)
- Top Dog: Reach Rep Level 50. (40G/Silver)
- One Man’s Trash: Assemble a derelict car. (25G/Bronze)
- Another Man’s Treasure: Get a derelict car to 399 tier rating. (25G/Bronze)
- The Artist: Unlock all visual customisation points. (20G/Bronze)
- The Mogul: Buy all available garage spaces. (20G/Bronze)
- The Strategist: Grind a previously won event for Speed Cards. (25G/Bronze)
- Hope and Glory: Equip a full setup with an American brand. (10G/Bronze)
- Outlaws on The Rise: Equip a full setup with the Outlaw brand. (10G/Bronze)
- Tech Mate: Equip a full setup with the NexTech brand. (10G/Bronze)
- Carbon Cartel: Equip a full setup with the Carbon brand. (10G/Bronze)
- Under The Hood: Equip a full setup with the Chidori brand. (10G/Bronze)
- First Strike is Deadly: Complete all 5 events in a Speedlist. (15G/Bronze)
- The Climb: Complete 10 ranked Speedlist events. (40G/Silver)
- Friendly Competition: Beat your first Autolog recommendation. (15G/Bronze)
- A Daily a Day: Complete your first daily challenge. (15G/Bronze)
- You’ve Got The Need: Complete all Speed Traps. (20G/Bronze)
- Flat-Out: Complete all Speed Runs (20G/Bronze)
- Sideways Style: Complete all Drift Zones. (20G/Bronze)
- Aces High: Complete all jumps. (20G/Bronze)
- Wherever I May Roam: Beat All 4 Roaming Racer Bosses. (40G/Silver)
- Does Not Obey: Smash your way through all the billboards. (20G/Bronze)
- Tinker, Tailor, Racer, Fly: Win a race event with a modified live tuning setup. (10G/Bronze)
- Scrappy Racer: Win a race using a derelict car. (10G/Bronze)
- Comeback is Real: Be last during the final lap and still win. (10G/Bronze)
- 1500BHP…Easy: Win a race in the Koenigsegg Regera without damaging it. (25G/Bronze)
- Perfect Shift: Win a Drag Race round by performing only perfect shifts. (20G/Bronze)
- Still Not Loving Police: Take down 100 cop vehicles. (40G/Silver)
- Active Lifestyle: Get a three star rating on all activities in the game. (40G/Silver)
- Cover Stars: Own the BMW (F90) 2017, Nissan Skyline GT-R (1999) and Chevrolet Bel Air. (40G/Silver)
- Driving The Incredible: Score over 350k points with the BMW (F90) 2017 during a Drift Trial event. (25G/Bronze)
