More New Cars and Scapes Revealed in Latest GT Sport Shots

The GT Sport media floodgates are cracking open further and further. The latest batch of screenshots give us our best look yet at some of the newest additions to the game’s lineup.

Yesterday, the official GT website revealed the full roster for the game. If you haven’t already, you can comb over the Always Up-To-Date GT Sport Car List for all the details. We covered the two headlining Porsche reveals — the 919 Hybrid and Cayman GT4 Clubsport — yesterday. Now, it’s time for some of the other new additions.

Up first is the Lexus LC500 above. If you’ve been lucky enough to spot one on the road lately, you’ll agree that it packs a whole lot of presence. While Lexus’ Predator grille took some getting used to, the overall shape of the big coupe looks fantastic to our eyes. It should make for a solid grand tourer — surely appropriate, given the name of the game.

Heading into Vision GT territory, the Peugeot VGT gets a new corporate paint job. It will be joined by two more lion-badged models later this month, at least according to the full list. Meanwhile, Alpine’s monoposto gets an update for 2017. A new, deeper front spoiler is the most noticeable change up front, while a glass enclosure now envelops the driver.

Polyphony has now confirmed the road-going Mazda Atenza after it was spotted in brief menu shots over the summer. Same too with the Citroën DS3 Racing. The two cars should help flesh out the lower-level N-class categories.

The wild-looking Honda 2&4 Concept should offer a unique experience in Sport. Weighing well under half a ton, but packing a Honda superbike engine, it offers a frankly incredible power/weight ratio. As it turns out, an eagle-eyed GTPlanet member may have spotted it a solid year ago

Aston Martin’s Vulcan has been making the digital rounds the last year. In terms of console racers, it first showed up in Forza Horizon 3 last year, before touching down in Project CARS 2 and Forza Motorsport 7 last month. GT Sport will be the next stop for Aston’s 800hp track-only beast, and it has dates with NFS Payback and The Crew 2 afterwards.

Finally, there’s Toyota’s TS050. The modern day LMP1 car will be going up against its Porsche competition in the top-shelf Gr.1 category, as well as the older Audi R18. Plus, it’ll also do battle with its predecessor, the TS030. We just hope the car’s real-world luck hasn’t transferred over to the world of GT Sport.

Some of these new images also utilize what appear to be never-before-seen Scape locations. That’s not too surprising: with over 1000 locations said to be part of GT Sport, there’s literally hundreds still to explore.
