As previously announced, Xbox One and PS4 supporters of the critically -acclaimed DiRT series will have to wait a little bit longer before experiencing the thrilling drive of the latest DiRT Rally simulator when it hits shelves on April 5th. That patience is going to be rewarded though, as Codemasters recently launched a video trailer announcing engaging novelties that will become available to all users on the release date.
Judging the video headlines, the new content will introduce 7 new cars, rally cross events, video tutorials, three Colin McRae liveries and the always-interesting Pikes Peak Hill Climb course.
New Cars:
- Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak
- Renault 5 Turbo
- Renault Alpine A110
- Opel Corsa Super 1600
- Peugeot 207 S1600
- Renault Clio S1600
- Mini Classic Rallycross
In addition, Codemasters announced two limited versions of the game and new packs if you pre-order the game – Fully Loaded MINI Pack and Fully Loaded Rallycross Pack. The former pack should bring the fully upgraded MINI Cooper S with an exclusive livery for the car. The car is said to appear from the start of the game and should also be accompanied with unique team mechanics. Nothing has been disclosed regarding the latter pack, nor whether we’ll have to pay for each or not.
