Sim racers looking to dip their toe into the world of dedicated hardware now have another option. Earlier this week, Next Level Racing unveiled its latest product, the Wheel Stand LITE.
The WSL is, as you’d expect, the baby brother of Next Level’s existing Wheel Stand. It eschews that model’s two-post design for a single center bar, which helps make the WSL very portable. According to the company, racers can fold up the LITE in 10 seconds; great for those that don’t have a dedicated space for sim racing.
The stand is fully adjustable, including wheel height/angle as well as pedal distance/angle. In addition, you can mount your shifter on either side via the dedicated holder. Next Level has also pre-drilled the wheel and pedal shelves for full compatibility with the sim hardware Big Three (Thrustmaster, Fanatec, and Logitech).
Next Level Racing promises the Wheel Stand LITE ships mostly pre-assembled, requiring only 10 minutes of wrenching before it’s ready for racing.
If you’re looking for a more substantial piece of kit, Next Level also offers its dual-setup F1GT racing rig. You can read our review right here.
Shipments for the Wheel Stand LITE will begin next month for Australia, New Zealand, and North America. Europe and Asia will follow in November. The LITE knocks a significant chunk of the regular Wheel Stand’s price, coming in at $149 USD (€149/$199 AUD). For more details on exact availability, keep an eye on the official website.
