Raise your hand if you saw this one coming: Gran Turismo… sunglasses? Yes, that’s correct: Polyphony Digital has partnered with Spanish sunglass maker Northweek to produce a limited collection of GT-branded eyewear.
The line consists of three pairs of glasses, each named after a famous track in Gran Turismo Sport. There’s the red “GT Interlagos Edition”, the blue-and-black “GT Suzuka Edition”, and the “GT Nürburgring Edition”, complete with Green Hell-inspired lenses.
It seems the line will only be available in Europe, where Northweek products are sold. Fortunately, they’re not too expensive, coming in at €35 each, and they can be ordered on Northweek’s website.
The surprise launch of these glasses top off an unusually busy week in Gran Turismo merchandise news. Just a few days ago, we saw the release of officially-licensed GT shirts and hoodies from Undefeated, BAPE, and Anti Social Social Club at the PlayStation Experience in Los Angeles.
