The sales keep on flowing in. Sony announced the PlayStation Store Black Friday sales earlier this week, and while there were some big discounts, racing fans were left with slim pickings. Sony has now augmented the original batch of discounts with another few dozen titles, and there are some hot deals for fast-acting drivers.
Leading the pack is Assetto Corsa. When we reviewed the title last summer, we found it majored on excellent physics and force feedback, though other aspects of the game felt less resolved (and certain ones will remain that way). It’s currently 33% off on the PS Store, listing at $33.49 USD. For that price, we’d say it’s a welcome addition to any PS4 racer’s library, especially with the first Porsche Pack DLC set to land on Tuesday.
The other racing title included in the sale is NASCAR Heat Evolution. Sitting at 66 on aggregate review site Metacritic, NHE doesn’t seem to have lit the genre on fire, but it does offer gamers an officially-licensed game based on America’s biggest sport. The game’s Pit Pass 1 DLC is also on sale, bringing 39 new paintjobs and a Rick Allen spotter voice. Both the pack and the game itself enjoy 40% off, putting them at $8.99 and $29.99 USD respectively.
