After months of teasing and an expected release window falling through the cracks, Kunos’ Marco Massarutto has made it official: Volume 1 of the Porsche DLC is coming to Assetto Corsa on PC in just over one week’s time, on October 25th.
Revealing the news on his Facebook page, Marco swiftly reassures Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players that they too will get their hands on the the first pack as soon as Sony and Microsoft approves the new build. The contents of the first pack are as follows:
- 911 Carrera S
- 935 Moby Dick
- 918 Spyder
- Cayman GT4 Clubsport
- 718 Cayman S
- 917/30
- 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 1974
As previously revealed, a total of 24 cars from the German marque will be introduced to the game and will be stretched across 3 packs total. Marco also revealed Steam’s approval of the Season Pass costing 15 EUR ($16.46 USD), allowing players to purchase all 3 volumes and save 28% off the full price in the process.
Each volume will include 7 models and will be available 6.99 EUR ($7.67 USD) across all three platforms. Additionally, the next title update for the game will introduce two more pieces of content at no additional charge: the classic 1960’s layout of “The Home of British Motor Racing,” Silverstone Circuit, and the second-generation Panamera.
More details on the Season Pass, the coming update, and the official announcement of Volume 1 should be outed over the next couple of days. In the meantime, remember to stop by our Assetto Corsa sub-forum for more discussion and in-depth analysis.
