Similar to our coverage of the GT6 Seasonal Events and Forza Horizon Forzathons, we’ll also be covering the Community Events in Project CARS 2. The Community Events are built by developer Slightly Mad Studios with a specified car on a specified track. They consist of time trials or esports events. This week sees a pair of events that challenges players on two different scales.
First you’ve been given the keys to the highly sought-after Lamborghini Veneno — a limited-edition hyper car that is eccentric on every level. This raging bull is essentially an Aventador turned up to 11, with added craziness. The track you’ll be taming the bull at is a place it calls home: the infamous Imola Circuit in Bologna, Italy. The combination of a scary car on a scary track is fitting for the month of October.
Next up we have Formula X at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. A fitting combo, as Formula One travels to the same track next weekend for what could possibly be the crowning of the 2017 World Champion. Lewis Hamilton has one hand on the title, but Project CARS 2 players would be smart to keep both hands on the wheel to keep the futuristic Formula X challenger in check.
The Community Events run from October 16–23.
