Renault Sport Car Pack Now Available in Project CARS

The Renault Sport Car Pack is now available for Project CARS as Slightly Mad Studios continues to keep the game feeling new with fresh monthly content courtesy of their ON DEMAND program.

As revealed just over a week ago, the last car pack of the year introduces an eclectic mixture of modern and historic machinery from Renault’s stable of road and racing cars. The following five rides are now yours to master around your venue of choosing:

  • 1978 Renault Alpine A442B
  • 2014 Renault Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy-R
  • 2009 Renault Mégane Trophy V6
  • 2015 Renault Sport R.S. 01
  • 2015 Formula Renault 3.5

As expected, things don’t end there as there’s a new four-round invitational event featuring Renault:

Renault Masters Trophy – A four-round series featuring vehicles manufactured by Renault

  • Start Date – May 15th
Location – Snetterton 200, Zolder, Hockenheim Sprint, Sonoma National
Unlock Criteria – Win The LMP3 UK Semi Pro Cup

Rounding out the car pack is this month’s free car, the Radical RXC Turbo. The Renault Sport Car Pack is now available across all platforms for $3.49 USD, and remember to stop by our Project CARS forum for more discussion, in-depth analysis and more!

That’s the nature of the beast, that’s how things work these days. But one thing is for sure, this games are getting very, very expensive. You buy it for 60 and 70 dollars and then $5 here, $5 there and another $5 over there in downloadale contents and this stuff goes easy for the $150,00 mark. A little too crazy!
When I bought my ps4, I got Destiny for free, but soon after the game was finished until they released part II and III… 30 bucks each! Then, game is done again until new content came out… for 60 freaking dollars! That’s when I told them… -You know what? Screw you! LOL!
But yeah, it’s how it works nowadays!

Don’t even mention Destiny and pCars in the same breath. pCars is DLC done right, Destiny is the worst DLC extortion ever in the industry.

You don’t have to buy it…. seriously, it’s an option. Can you just not buy something? I know it’s almost impossible for US citizens (they have genetic buying-syndrome), but just try it, just for once…. :)

Not sure that $3.49 should equal £2.89 in the real world as it does for this dlc, but that’s the norm in the gaming world. All in all 50p per car seems like a bargain.

Early Christmas present for me and much better than socks ??

Is it £2.89? I’ve seen £3.89 quoted so I just went with the USD pricing.

A little all-encompassing no doubt, but it was hassle-free. lol
