After almost two months of racing, the 2020 F1 Esports championship comes down to the final round. The last three races, taking place on December 16 and 17, will determine the destination of both driver and constructor titles, and they’re looking pretty close.
While it might seem like we’ve heard a lot about esports in the F1 games over this summer’s hastily re-arranged motorsport schedule, the official F1 Esports series is about to get underway.
Although we’ve had a pretty busy summer of F1 esports, with the pro drivers and invited guests filling in for cancelled grands prix, it’s time for the best in the world to have their turn. The official 2020 F1 Esports Series will return later this month, with the traditional Pro Draft on August 27.
The 2019 F1 Esports New Balance Pro Series finals took place in London earlier in the week. After a pretty tight battle, Italy’s David Tonizza took the title driving for the debutant Ferrari team.
