At the end of last year Kunos announced its prospective plans for 2017. While the wait for Laguna Seca continues, a new Assetto Corsa car pack celebrating the 70th anniversary of Ferrari is up next.

You know the story by now: last month the Ready To Race car pack made its way to Assetto Corsa. Included were 10 brand-new vehicles ranging from a “budget” supercar to two hardcore Le Mans prototypes. Throughout the week we’ve put seven of the ten vehicles through their paces. At last, it’s time to bring the series to a close with the final three — the extreme three.

Earlier this week we celebrated Assetto Corsa’s Ready To Race car pack by breaking in four of the included cars. We’re picking up where we left off with three new vehicles, all with something to prove. However, it’s worth acknowledging that the liveries featured are not standard fare with the car pack.

Early last month Kunos released the Ready To Race car pack for Assetto Corsa. The pack brings 10 all-new vehicles to the game, with PC players being the first to sample the new content.

Assetto Corsa players have received a fair amount of goodies this month. Yesterday saw the much-anticipated launch of the 1.14 update on PS4, and today brings the latest car pack DLC to the original PC version.

PC players of Assetto Corsa will receive another shot of cars in the driving sim in only a few days. After the surprise announcement last week, Kunos Simulazioni has released additional shots of three of the incoming race cars.

In a surprise move, Kunos Simulazioni has announced the next car pack set to arrive for Assetto Corsa. Players won’t have to wait long either: the new cars will be available next week.

First confirmed just under a year ago in a developer diary discussing the future plans of Assetto Corsa, the Mazda 787B and first-generation MX-5 Miata have finally made their way to the racing sim as free bonus content.

Good news for Assetto Corsa players. Kunos Simulazioni has announced that two of the most iconic cars to wear the Mazda badge are coming to the game for free, while a previously-announced Porsche is inbound as well.

This is shaping up to be an action-packed start to the week for fans of Assetto Corsa. What began yesterday with the release of the third and final Porsche Pack and a new update for PS4 owners, continues today with release of the previously-teased Scotland-based fictional track and the Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 for PC players.

Marco Massarutto, head of Kunos Simulazioni, has shared some insight into the development stages for the yet-to-be-released Scottish track headed to Assetto Corsa.

After a lengthy trial of patience, PlayStation 4 players will be the first to have access to the third and final Porsche Pack for Assetto Corsa. Arriving alongside the final volume is update 1.12 for the game, adding 40 new special events in addition to the following racing machines (and sports cars) from the German marque:

Looks like things are going to heat up very soon in Assetto Corsa. After the team outlined plans for the game at the end of 2016, Marco Massarutto has taken to his usual role on his Facebook page, and has once again begun teasing a wealth of upcoming content for the racer.

It’s been a long and arduous effort for console racers, but next week, February 13, PlayStation 4 players will be the first to finally have their hands on the third and final Porsche Pack for Assetto Corsa. 

When Assetto Corsa landed on consoles last summer, it received a mixed reception. In our own review of the game, we found the much-lauded physics and force feedback were tempered by a general lack of polish. To its credit, Kunos Simulazioni has been constantly working on the game since, both by bringing new content, and refining the game’s existing features and performance.

If you play Assetto Corsa on consoles, chances are you’ve had a bit of a grass-is-greener feeling of late. The PC platform—the original home of the game—welcomed the third Porsche Pack DLC a few days before Christmas 2016, and over a month later, there’s still no firm date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It sounds like that will be changing soon, however.

Late last week, Kunos Simulazioni announced that in an upcoming v1.12 console update for Assetto Corsa, players are to expect a slew of new Special Events. The offline affairs will revolve around the recently-included Red Pack and Porsche Pack Volume 2 downloadable content, as well as the highly anticipated finale to the Porsche content, Porsche Pack Volume 3.

After last week’s confirmation, console racers can rejoice as some of Italy’s and Stuttgart’s finest (in addition to a new premium racing circuit) have finally arrived in Assetto Corsa on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the form of the Red Pack and Porsche Pack 2, respectively.
