It’s been a long time since we saw a game featuring the world’s most grueling race, but Bigmoon Entertainment has finally brought the challenge back into our living rooms. After a brief delay, Dakar ’18 is finally available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
September means many things. It marks the end of summer, the beginning of school, and for some bizarre reason, an end to white in your wardrobe. For racing game fans it’s about to take on a whole new meaning: the month of a noticeably lighter wallet.

We’re a little less than two months away from the September 11 release of Dakar 18. Up until now, we’ve only had a chance to see bits and pieces of the game show up on Twitter via developer Bigmoon Studios. However, the fine folks at Team VVV are now giving us our first real look at the game.
Anyone who’s a fan of classic rally cars: listen up. Bigmoon Studios announced that pre-orders of its upcoming Dakar 18 game will get the 1987 Peugeot 205 T16 “Grand Raid”.
It’s been a while since we heard about Dakar 18. After the original announcement (which coincided with the real-world event), developer Bigmoon Entertainment has been hard at work to nail a more specific release date for this year.
