It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about The Crew 2, the sequel to Ubisoft’s open-world driving game. We do have some news, but unfortunately, it’s not very good.
Talk about unfortunate circumstances. As you’ve gathered from the title, Kunos Simulazioni have announced on the official Assetto Corsa Facebook page that the title’s venture onto PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has once again fallen victim to a delay. While no longer releasing next month, the new targeted release dates are August 26th for Europe, and August 30th for North America.
As you’ve no doubt gathered from the title, there’s a bit of unfortunate news to report: Kunos Simulazioni and publisher 505 Games have announced that Assetto Corsa’s venture onto consoles has been postponed. While it will no longer release as originally intended, the new release dates have been confirmed to be June 3rd for Europe, and June 7th for North America.
Only hours away from release, Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced via Twitter the release of Gran Turismo 5’s first DLC – including the highly anticipated Spa Francorchamps circuit – has been delayed in North America until October 25th, 2011. No further explanation is offered, but the tweet does mention the content will include a “special bonus” when it is eventually released next week:
