It sounds like Gran Turismo fans will get an extended look at the franchise as part of tomorrow’s PlayStation E3 2017 briefing. There’s a catch, though.
Microsoft is gearing up for its big pre-E3 press conference, and you’ll be able to watch it live from here. The event kicks off at 1400 local time in Los Angeles (2100 UTC). We’ll be catching it live from the Galen Center, so tune in at the bottom of this post to follow along.
Thrustmaster has revealed the name of its upcoming wheel ahead of E3 and it goes by the name of “T-GT”. Originally teased on the Thrustmaster Facebook page, the name of the new peripheral disproves prior listings of the “T700”.

At Gran Turismo Sport’s blowout event back in May of 2016, a mysterious Thrustmaster-branded wheel sat in a glass case. In May of this year, numerous retailers began putting up listings for the supposed Thrustmaster “T700.” We still don’t have the full details about this wheel, but the peripheral maker has thrown us a bone or two over the past few days.

This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo is set to be a big one for the racing genre. Electronic Arts is the first major third-party to tip its hand, lining up a pre-E3 event that will include a raft of upcoming titles, including the latest installment in the Need For Speed series.
