The Switch is home to some of the year’s best games — unless you’re a racing fan. While it’s true Nintendo’s platforms have never been a haven for the genre, the hybrid console is awfully shorthanded in the racing department, even compared to its predecessors. Excellent as they are, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Fast RMX can only satisfy for so long.
Although this half of the year has been packed with massive racing games, a surprise announcement was Gear.Club Unlimited for Nintendo Switch. Eden Games has developed a premium version of its free mobile title for the new hybrid console and it certainly looks interesting.

Eden Games is bringing it’s popular Gear.Club title to Nintendo Switch. The announcement comes in the form of a short cinematic trailer showing off the first realistic racer on the system.
McLaren’s hunt for the World’s Fastest Gamer will break new ground by including mobile title Gear Club. The free-to-play app will run a qualifying event starting from today and last until August 17.
