Red Bull has taken the covers off its first ever production car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, with the dramatic RB17 track toy making its public debut.

Subaru is hoping to climb back to the top of the Goodwood Festival of Speed shootout this year, eight years after its last victory, with a mean-looking time attack machine dubbed “Project Midnight”.

Goodwood, one of the UK’s best-known automotive culture hotspots, is offering a pretty special prize bundle for an online competition in Gran Turismo Sport. Prizes include tickets for the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, a rally stage passenger experience, and a PC sim racing rig.

The latest update for Gran Turismo 6, version 1.20, has just gone live, and brings with it an update to the Goodwood Hill Climb course and one of the more hotly anticipated Vision GT cars: the radical SRT Tomahawk.

Since its inclusion in Gran Turismo 6 was first announced back in 2013, the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed has had a close relationship with the franchise. As many will recall, last year saw the in-game track updated to include the 2014 “Central Feature” sculpture at Goodwood – a soaring art installation that features different manufacturers and changes each year.

The Aston Martin DP-100 Vision GT concept car was fully revealed today at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The DP-100 is a new creation from the Aston Martin design team exclusively for Gran Turismo 6. The virtual concept will be made available as a free download for GT6 some time this July.
