On the eve of the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 6 demo and the start of GT Academy 2013, 2012 champion Steven Doherty offers some advice and behind-the-scenes insight into what it’s like to win the competition in an exclusive interview with GTPlanet.

Just like GT Academy USA, GT Academy Germany‘s winner’s identity is being kept under wraps for the climax of a TV show – and hot on the heels of last week’s announcement by Spike TV of the US version’s show, GT Academy have announced the schedule for the German show.
The European GT Academy final reached its ultimate conclusion at a sodden Silverstone earlier this afternoon, with Belgium’s Wolfgang Reip crowned the ultimate winner for 2012.
This is it for the European GT Academy 2012 finalists; only six remain, one from each region of the competition. Their names are below, listed from left-to-right in order of the picture above.
