The GT5 Signature Edition Challenge, first announced last August, has come to a close, with Marco Calvo of Spain taking home the top prize: a brand-new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
Remember GT5 Signature Edition Challenge, which offered the chance to win a real-life Mercedes SLS AMG? The unique B-Spec competition took place in January and the next stage has finally been announced, with the top-placed finishers headed to the Red Bull Ring in Austria for their chance to compete for the top prize.
The Signature Edition Challenge to win a real-life Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG kicks off today! As previously mentioned, the challenge will be run entirely within GT5’s B-Spec mode and is, of course, open only to Signature Edition owners.
Those of you who paid more than $200 for the Signature Edition of GT5 are probably eager to learn more about the exclusive competition you’re eligible to compete in (it’s still in stock at Amazon, GamePlay, and, of course, eBay). Other than this notice posted on Polyphony Digital’s website, there hasn’t been much said about the most expensive version of the game. What was said, however, was critically important.
Video game retailer GAME.co.uk has received shipment of the Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition, and shares this “unboxing” video to reveal what’s inside. Owning the Signature Edition of the game, of course, grants you access to the GT5 SLS AMG Challenge, where you can compete in-game to win your own real-world SLS AMG. The SE is still in stock and available for pre-order at GAME.
