The patch is available as of this very moment and weighs in at 598Mb. An install phase of around 30 minutes is also required and gamers are advised that this may differ from what is displayed on screen.
A new version of Gran Turismo 6, update 1.08, has just been released – and it’s a big one! Weighing in at 1.4GB (with a 20+ minute installation time), it brings the highly anticipated Ayrton Senna Tribute content and a surprise in the form of an all-new Vision GT car.
The sixth update for Gran Turismo 6 is now available, and it brings with it the GPS visualizer, data logger, custom rear wings, 3D compatibility, as well as adjustments to the open lobby for multiplayer games.
Polyphony Digital has just released the latest software update for Gran Turismo 6, after an online service maintenance period. Unfortunately, the update does not immediately introduce any significant new content, as many expected after a new track was teased for the game back in January.
The fourth update for Gran Turismo 6 is now available, and it brings with it the Corvette Stingray Gran Turismo Concept that was first shown at SEMA 2013, the second half of the Red Bull X Challenge events which also adds the “Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Standard” and “Gran Turismo Red Bull X2014 Fan Car” to the in-game dealership, as well as the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series, which is a separate version of the previously released AMG Vision vehicle that is “optimized for the competitive racing scene”.
The third update for Gran Turismo 6 is now available, and it brings with it the all-new Toyota FT-1 Concept Coupé, a full interior to the 2014 BMW M4 Coupé, new Seasonal Events, as well as amending the date of availability of the remaining Red Bull X Challenges which now reads “Available in January 2014”.
Gran Turismo 6 receives its first update outside the initial day one release patch. Weighing in at 1.2 GBs, this patch adds the Red Bull X Challenge allowing players to try out the newest Red Bull X concepts created in collaboration with F1 designer Adrian Newey. As opposed to the single concept presented in yearly updates through out GT5’s lifespan, we now get the Red Bull ‘X’ cars in three distinct flavors: X2014 Junior, X2014 Standard and X2014 Fancar. A surprising addition is the new Red Bull Racing Kart, which features design cues from its big brother prototypes.
