Paris Motor Show 2018

This past February, we showed you the forever-in-development Aspark Owl. Now the car is making another appearance and there are a few changes. But despite those differences, it still holds on to the mantra of “the more things change, the more they stay the same.”

Over 15 million. That’s how many 3 Series BMW has sold since the model’s introduction in 1976. So to call this, the seventh generation, an important new model is an understatement.

Electrification is the hottest trend for automakers right now. However, this leaves many enthusiasts to wonder what will happen to vehicles like hot hatches. Thankfully, Skoda’s latest concept might put some minds at ease.

Debuting on the busy Paris Motor Show floor, VinFast is the newest automaker to burst onto the scene, with some help from David Beckham. But it’s not the cars or even the legendary footballer making waves, however — it’s where the company hails from.

There’s a new vehicle joining the Skoda vRS range. Getting its first public showing at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, the Kodiaq will now find a place in the company’s performance line. It also signals a few firsts for the brand as well.

Some car makers are busily making headlining F1 cars for the road. There’s the outlandish Aston Martin Valkyrie for example, and the F1-powered Mercedes-AMG ONE. Infiniti meanwhile is quietly getting on with the business of making F1 tech work on existing road cars.

The retro designs just keep on coming. This latest comes courtesy of Peugeot, in what’s quickly becoming a long line of throwbacks that will roll out at the Paris Motor Show.
