The latest model in the Porsche 911 GT range has arrived, in the shape of the new 992-generation GT3. Boasting the usual race car-derived technology, the GT3 represents the entry level of Porsche’s highest performance 911s, and it’s quite the high bar for the subsequent models.
It might be hard to believe, but one of the most lauded enthusiast models is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. A very happy birthday, then, to Porsche’s 911 GT3.

The latest Gran Turismo Sport “World Tour” event has been quite a show in Salzburg, Austria today. In addition to some great racing, Polyphony Digital used the live stream to show off a freshly-updated Fuji Speedway track and an assortment of new cars, including the NSX Type R, Nissan 300ZX, and Porsche 911 GT3 (997).
