Back in November, we made our case for a follow up to Tourist Trophy. It was all a bit of wishful thinking, but still something we really wanted. In a recent interview with Game Watch at the 2018 Taipei Game Show, Kazunori Yamauchi offered a nugget of information about the franchise.

Kazunori Yamauchi was at the Taipei Game Show recently, discussing the present and future of the Gran Turismo series (via Game Watch). There, he dropped the first hints of what might be next for the franchise after GT Sport.

Gran Turismo series founder Kazunori Yamauchi has been in attendance at the Taipei Game Show. Following a stage event, he participated in a round-table interview. Here, he spoke of more details regarding GT Sport.

Gran Turismo Sport was playable at the Taipei Game Show this past weekend—on the new PlayStation 4 Pro no less. While the build doesn’t appear to be much different from the one shown at the PlayStation Experience last December, it nonetheless shows us some new aspects of the game.

Kazunori Yamauchi made a special appearance at the Taipei Game Show this weekend, and the first announcements are coming in from Taiwanese sites Gamerhotline and UDN (as kindly translated by our own Yui-san).
