The latest Project CARS 2 Community Event is offering quite an ice challenge to players. If last week’s offering was a typical sim racing hot lap event, this is quite the opposite.
Taking place on the Mercedes-Benz Ice Track, players will have to put in the fastest time possible on the unconventional circuit. There are no racing cars involved this time around either, as you’ll have to tame the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe S for a shot at placing well. Master the sliding saloon or face the consequences of a slow time.
Driving conditions are quite lovely — minus the sheets of ice on-track. The AMG C63 will be drifting under a clear night sky with no weather of any sort to deal with. We can only imagine the chaos if there had been anything but regular conditions.
“Holiday Ice Driving Bash” will last for the next seven days, finishing on December 25. For this event, tuning settings are not locked so players might wish to spend some of that time coming up with a good tuning setup to use. The challenge is unlike most track based events, so stability will be key to a fast lap.
Top times are already coming in at sub 2:00; use that as your benchmark if you want to compete at the top.
