If at this very moment you’re reminiscing about the “King of the Track” challenges from the days of Forza Motorsport 4 to secure the elusive “Unicorn” car, know that you’re in good company.
As controversial of a topic they may be, the exclusive vehicles made their return to Forza Motorsport 6 last month with the 1971 Ferrari 312 P that could only be obtained by competing in the Can-Am Connection weekly League series; and only if you finished in the top half of the field.
This month marks a new-yet-familiar challenge, one that’s a little more available to all players: Community Bounty. If you’re familiar with Community Bounties then you’ll know exactly what comes next, but for those that are new to this gameplay mechanic the way it works it simple. Starting today, Turn 10 have posted a new Rivals event in the Community Monthly Channel of Rivals; this event, called “Chasing Ghosts at Brands Hatch,” will put you behind the wheel of the 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith and you will be tasked with setting a best time at Brands Hatch.
There’s a catch however, it isn’t you simply vying for a fast lap time and calling it a day, no, you will be going head-to-head with Turn 10’s own Elliott Lyons (Gamertag: RBW Triton) for he is this month’s Bounty. Your reward for beating his time? The 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. It bears mentioning here and now, the Community Bounty event is the only way you can get the Aston Martin in February.
Tuning and upgrades to the top of B Class will be allowed, and at the end of the month the event will close and everyone who finishes with a time that’s faster than Elliott’s best time will be gifted the prize vehicle. Even if you aren’t a top racer or have the time to dedicate refining your lap throughout the month as Elliot will, the Vantage will be gifted to 100 random players who set a time.
What are you waiting for? You have until February 26th to take those Wraiths to Brands Hatch and chase down Elliot and any ghosts that stand before you!

Will I be able to get it later or nah? Don’t feel like turning on my Xbox.
If you don’t turn on your Xbox, you don’t get anything.
What if I turn it on a few months from now? Will I be forever screwed out of getting this sweet Aston?
They might release it in Forza Horizon 3 or not… No one has an idea. But even if you get in the top 100 they might not choose you is what I understand.
I don’t mind having to work hard to get a car but when it turns into a lottery, once again from what I understand, I wouldn’t even care for it… so many people will have their hopes broken if they absolutely want that car.
I’ll enjoy the Virginia raceway/Porsche update instead.
@BrunetPaquet – No. Every player that beats RBW Triton at the end of the month will get the car, in addition to 100 random players who don’t.
OH. Oh okay… I knew I didn’t get it all right. Thanks for the clarification.
Still, I’m not good enough to beat a time like that, especially with specified aids that are forbidden from being used. I’ll drive it in whichever Forza Motorsport/Horizon it might appear if it does.
I’ll just drive it in Forza Horizon 3 if it’s here… I was happy when this unicorn stuff was gone, and to a RANDOM 100 players who set a time?
This is some weird, no good stuff… and if I was my past self I would have used much worse language, but no.
How do I know when I’ve beaten him though? where is his time?…I can’t scroll through thousands of names looking for him, is it just the one time he has already set, or can he try to improve it later so you can be knocked out again?..can your car have any assists or not…etc.etc.
As mentioned, the targeted lap time will continue to improve as the month progresses. And the game will tell you what assists are and aren’t allowed.
Search for his gamertag, again, mentioned above, RBW Triton.
Some where on the Main forza forums and the here people are tracking it. Last I heard its around 1:39.5. Very fast.
Does someone here play forza6 (with FF wheel)?
I bought an xone because i want to give it a try, and till GT7 shows up, its a bit.
So after spending 700 Euros for xone + G920 + Forza 6, i have to say:
DONT DO IT! THE WHOLE STEERING IS CRAP, there is NO FFB at all, or at least which would make sense, the cars oversteer for no reason, are twitchy as hell, and overall the whole system is crap multiplied by ten.
How can anybody say that forza is compairable to GT? Its worlds in between from a FFB Wheel standpoint of view. Controller playing is ok, but who plays semi-sim racing games with a controller?
I cant belive how bad it is.
My comparsion list is:
– GT4, GT5, GT6
– NFS Shift 1 + 2
– Project CARS
– rfactor
– Simbin GTR, GTR2, GTR Evolution
All these games make sense in FFB and feel great.
And then theres forza 6 (I heard the fifth part is really good with wheel and FFB, i dont get it how they could **** this up this way).
Or is it just me, my hardware, or something else?
It’s your hardware. I use a Fanatec CSWv2 and Forza 6 is amazing with it. I have tonnes of ffb and it’s vety precise. Forza 5 and FH2 are also very good. I cant speak for your wheel but i know mine i great. I find it better then when playing GT6 actually. I also game on PC and Forza holds up to any sim there as well. Inside sim racing did a good review of my setup on Forza 6. They are a Sim Racing website (mainly PC) and they were very impressed with the CSWv2 and Forza 6.
Playing with a Thrustmaster TX, TM leather rim and Clubsport V1 pedals. Very good feedback and sensations with my kit as well.
ASTON MARTIN! O_O
