This week’s Project CARS 2 Community Event is now live. After a fairly mental karting challenge at the Nurburgring, this week returns to a more simple combo: take the wheel of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE on Silverstone for a British showdown.
“Silvo Shootout” combines these two icons of motorsport for a fun and easily-accessible challenge. As a GTE class racer, the Aston doesn’t require too much skill to throw around the track which makes this a good time trial for veterans and casual players alike. There’s plenty of grip that can be tapped into, and speed just waiting to be utilized. Silverstone lends itself to the vehicle’s strengths too thanks to its many straights and high speed turns. Don’t be surprised if you lose track of time putting in lap after lap.
Weather is a non-entity for this challenge with some clouds in the sky being the extent of what has to be dealt with. Following previous events, the Vantage can be tuned as required. Use this as an advantage to shave off those all-important tenths of a second.
