The annual Tokyo Game Show is about to kick off in Japan, and we could be in store for a more interesting event than usual this year. With the recent announcement of the PlayStation 4 Pro and the pending release of the PlayStation VR headset, Sony is expected to have a lot to talk about at their home event this year.
Of course, the real question mark is Gran Turismo Sport. As you’ve probably heard by now, the game has been officially delayed until sometime next year, which has led many to doubt there will be any new announcements in Tokyo. Nevertheless, the game remains listed as one of Sony’s marquee titles for the event and will be playable at the show.
You can watch the live stream right here via the player above, in English, starting at 07:00 UTC (click here to convert this to your local time zone).
As always, we’ll have full coverage from Tokyo – stay tuned!

There were 2 clips of GT in the commercial, a yellow Porsche 911 and a oval race track near the end.
I’m pretty sure that the ‘Porsche 911’ you saw was actually a RUF.
looked more like a Rinspeed model than a RUF
I didn’t see anything… could you tell me the exact time on the video when you saw those?

Pretty sure that was nothing to do with Gran Turismo
lol that can’t be GT, the people in the car aren’t dressed for racing, looks more like something Need For Speed would do.
Found it, GT SPort is definitely shown at 1:19:17, the oval track.
So much for GT Sport at the conference.
It will be interesting to see what Kaz has to say for himself about this delay, as in a proper & full explanation, & maybe a new release date.
Kaz was the Author of the original blog post – Basically he says they realized they were not going to get in all the features in that they wanted in time, and they are still adding features that have never been seen before in a racing game. – http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/08/30/gran-turismo-sport-update/
“Never before seen”? You mean that physics-based rendering thingy? Meh. When they add Need For Speed-style customization options, then I’ll be happy.
On all cars, ofc.
Ah a Jordan post :)
Some actual news incoming??
