Had a blast with this one in a Mazda Eunos Roadster J-Limited (NA) ’91 (348pp). Really raking up the credits on this one, :-D

Only haven’t figured out how to win the last race in this car. Somehow the first A.I. gets too much of a headstart with that race.

    1. Pvig73

I know. During the last race the ai is 20 odd seconds ahead at first then ended up being 55 secs ahead. Weird.

  2. Pvig73

Loved this event. Won the first four races on the first go (the last turn on the Autumn Ring) but Eifel was tricky and took my third go to win. Used a Toyota 2000GT with full tune which was 398PP. Good fun.

  3. Blood*Specter

Just make cars too old to have ABS set to zero ABS. Then lock it. No more btchn or whining.
If you want ABS in a older car, just upgrade the suspension and tire size……oh wait,……….

  4. swynder

Hmm, still haven´t got the chances of doing these New Seasonals since the PSN server is under maintance, but they look great, can anyone tell me wich is the prize car please?

  5. Parker42

using the ’11 mini cooper and when i corner it slows down hell of alot it never use to, why is this happening?

  6. Pit Crew

Ha Ha PD, very funny. Forcing SRF in the seasonals was a good joke but now its lost its comical appeal (If it ever had it).

We ask you to fix the A.I. “Chase the Rabbit, Rolling Checkpoint”conundrum ,and your answer is to force an aid obviously meant for Newbies. I dont appreciate this, as I work hard to refine my driving technique.

If this continues, I will only be playing GT5 in Online lobbies in the forseeable future.

  7. SRTPAPA

im using a 06 miata doing really good so far agree with ncrthree and the forced aids lol. only aid i use is abs and its on 1 cuz its to hard to use no abs with controler lol if i had a wheel it would be off

    1. Parker42

depends what wheel, i have the Logitech Driving Force GT and that’s epic, but my mate has the DF EX and that’s shockingly bad for racing with

  8. Neilson248

How can we get hold of pd to send them a message… Perhaps they know this or maybe not but the pp update has ruined the game for me… I was loving gt before the update and IMO the cars were far more evenly matched than they are now… For example I was racing in the 505pp class and it was fantastically addictive but now it’s all messed up people using trucks which are as fast as an m3 csl and the supra has imprOved by about 20 seconds per lap and is around 7 seconds per lap faster than anything else it’s crazy please pd bring the old pp system back I haven’t raced online since the update

    1. GTMikeyKuhn412

Personally, I believe it is more fair. Take the Alfa TZ2, for example. its a 550 PP car, but it wouldn’t keep up before update. Now it should be alright.

  9. ncrthree

Forced aids of any kind is wrong. Hopefully forced SRF isn’t the new trend in these events. Of all the aids to force, lol. Seems like it should be forced OFF with these specs. 400pp and CS tires, please if you need SRF at those specs you need practice not your hand held.

    1. 05XR8

I use an ’02 Mini MINI COOPER with racing suspension and racing exhaust(no other mods) just to watch the sparks because it rides so low. Have fun with it earning those 300k+ credits.

  11. Lambob

I like to use heavy midsized classic(German) cars with CS tires, as they have the proper suspension travel to offload the burden from the tires. The little stiff cars(Japanese) handle very poorly with CS tires, imo.

If no update by PD to correct the current pp system, within 2 days. then I guess it’s here to stay.

    1. Both Barrels

I found that 2 of the most enjoyable cars on CS for these races were the ’67 Toyota 2000GT and the ’68 Fairlady 2000.

  12. McLarensFinest

I don’t wanna sound like a complete idiot but what is SRF? Ps I’ve been away from GT for a couple years

    1. Lambob

I don’t mind if SRF is forced on or off, I always drive assuming they’re off anyway. If you ‘rely’ on SRF, you’re in for a surprise when you race online without it.

  13. Brunskill777

I’m going to need a calender to time these, especially Nurburgring! I mean, 400pp comfort soft gonna take years to do one race, but I suppose it gives some of the ‘everyday normal’ cars on GT a run out. Also glad I get SRF, I know lots of you are complaining it’s locked on, but it’s fine. Who cares if it’son or off? (Actually all the babies on here having a hissy fit of ‘I won’t do it’. Get over it.

    1. Lionheart2113

I agree, it is an “expert challenge” so whether or not this is on or that is turned off, doesn’t matter. If you’re really into racing, you’ll just enjoy something new and another chance to get into a car you might not normally. You’re in a 400pp car with comfort soft tires, it’s not like you are going to be setting hot laps in any of these events so having the SRF locked on makes no difference to me. If some of these “babies” can’t get it done, they should complain less and practice more!

    2. JeremiahTB

I never use SRF anymore, but I know why people use it. It should always be an option, but I’m not going to complain if it’s locked on OR off. You never hear the SRF users complaining about not having a choice when it’s locked off, only the haters when it’s locked on.

    3. Brunskill777

Well said, personally I use it but I do wish it was optional for time trials (as it seems strange you can change any other settings but not SRF). And for any events in the future where SRF is allowed, I hope PD keep it being optional to please both parties.

  14. dp97

My bad – I am getting the login bonus. When I looked at my credits, I compared them to the first place reward even though I got 2nd place. Wishful thinking gone haywire.

Cannot beat that mini cooper – it’s so fast in the corners… need to keep re-entering the race until it’s not in the pack.

  15. dp97

No, I’m not getting the login bonus on any of the races either. What’s up with that.

Skid recovery assistisso s forced on also.

Am having fun winning the events with an old MR2 1600 G ’86 that I tuned up to 400pp. It’s not an easy win, so no rabbit hunt – any mistake at all and it’s 2nd or 3rd for me.

    1. Supertom14

For the first two races I got the bonus but the last three it gave me the standard amount. Something fishy is going on.

  16. Lionheart2113

I used a BMW Z4, with the new 2.10 update, at 400pp, it has become a fast little car. I didn’t have any issues against the other cars, lapping some on all except for Nurbur (obviously). You get a Level 0 ticket which I got a red Honda Del Sol…lucky me!

    1. Parker42

im using the same car but on autumn ring i only overtook 1st place on lap 8 on last corner, it was fun, but i have 398pp and it seemed slow compared to 206’s and Micra’s, why are you so much faster?

  17. skyrunr10k

The last 415pp FF seasonal I did could only be won with the 04 Civic Type R. Even cutting and bouncing off of a few cars it wasn’t even possible with a nicely tuned 97 Civic RM (a ringer I know). I would really enjoy being able to get a decent race with the rewards/benefits of a seasonal event. They all need to be set to no aids, no tuning, penalties, and no chasing the rabbits!

Every attempt should be made so that you can race real players in timed rooms. It really isn’t that much different than racing online when you think about it.

  18. TomBrady

Normally I don’t complain about the game, I leave that to the hundreds of people on this site with nothing better to do and Forza fanboys, but SRF? Are you serious?

I don’t even care if other people use aids, as long as it’s not a time trial I don’t care, but forcing people to use the worst, most unrealistic aid in the game? Screw you PD. Might as well not do these seasonals at this point. I let it slide with the christmas ones because the races were actually really cool and the cars were 700pp but 400pp? What’s the damn point? If you can’t drive a 400pp car on comfort softs without SRF, just give it up. Move onto another game.

    1. TokoTurismo

I agree. I never compained either, but this however, is a problem. That isn’t cool PD, seriously don’t do this kind of thing with the seasonals now. First the PP change and now this? I hope PD would get themselves together and stop disappointing their fans like these. They did so good on Sunday to Tuesday, what are they doing? Come on PD.

  19. Both Barrels

Beat a Mini Cooper S in a pedal-powered Miata on the Nurb. Gotta make it fun somehow, seeing as all the risk is taken away with the SRF on.

  20. smskeeter23

Is it just me or does it seem like the whole feild is finally a bit faster instead of the same old rabbit chase? Makes me happy if that is indeed the case :-)

  21. hobanator24

    Easiest. Seasonal. Ever.
I ust the Chrysler Prowler ’02 on the Autumn Ring race & started lapping cars on lap 7. I’ll do the rest of them tomorrow.

    1. JeremiahTB

Really? After the backlash that happened last time, I’m surprised they would pull that $#! again. I wonder what the purpose is…Unless someone at PD copied and pasted the wrong code from his flashdrive.

    2. JeremiahTB

I’m sure everyone that says “I’m not doing these now” will be doing them. It’s still a new set of races.

I only want it because it’s literally one of the only cars I don’t have. There are some random editions of japanese cars I don’t have, but the Lister is the only major or unique car I don’t have yet.

I’ve driven it by using my GT PSP garage and it’s not a bad car. It’s ok. I wiffed on the one time I saw it in the dealership, I should’ve bought it
