Canadian Forza Motorsport 7 players could win a four-day Porsche Driving Experience. All they have to do is beat an IndyCar driver’s race time in-game.
No, we’re not talking about the (very difficult) Josef Newgarden Rivals event. The target here is James Hinchcliffe, a fellow Canuck. Hinchcliffe has set a two-lap total of 05:46.653 at Dubai in the game’s cover car, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. That should be a lot more achievable for most of the player base.
To enter, you’ll have to take to social media (either Twitter or Instagram). Once you’ve beaten Hinchcliffe’s time, snap a picture of it and yourself, tag Xbox Canada’s account, and use #TakeTheLeadContest.
Players that own the full game will naturally be eligible, but the demo will also work for those that may not. In addition, Xbox will be setting up in Toronto and Montreal for the rest of the week, for live opportunities to enter the contest:
- October 18, 12:00 – 18:00: Roy Thompson Hall, 60 Simcoe St., Toronto, ON,
- October 19, 12:00 – 18:00: St James Church, 463 Saint-Catherine St W., Montreal, QC
- October 20, 12:00 – 18:00: Gare Centrale, 95 Rue de la Gauchetière O., Montreal, QC
The contest runs until October 29, and the winner will be drawn on November 1. Gamers can enter once per day on both social platforms to increase their chances.
The grand prize is a four-day Porsche Performance Tour in British Columbia. Well, that’s the prize if you’re over 21; it’s a cash prize ($6500) for people younger. The full details for the contest can be found here.
