For any future readers looking to do the same thing.
Basically there is a way to do it. It's been done before but is super complicated to input your audio files in a way that the game's coding will be able to recognize and support with 0 issues.
I decided to do an alternative as my PSP is running on custom software. I just used a mp3 plug in that allows me to play my songs from the PSP Music files as an overlay in game, as that isn't possible on vanilla software. So I achieved what I wanted anyways. Hope this helps someone!
