If i have to choose i rather start with the XB1 compatibility than with the PS4.

I would love to play Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 with the CSWv2, CSPv2, CSS and off course the CSHB

Personally I could never warm up to Forza 4 although I played it a lot. I still have X360 and can run it anytime I want, I just don't. I definitely won't buy an XOne or Forza5.

I am interested in GT7 running on a PS4.

I hope we will bet PS4 support too, but i think it will be a couple of years before we will see a GT7 on the PS4
(really hope they will ditch the "standard cars" and innovate the gameplay)

Right. What a joke especially for the new generation of consoles, could you imagine how crappy that would look. They should just polish a turd and let us drive that around the track.

GT could use a UI overhaul as well. The Japanese really love their cumbersome user menu's for some reason.

I understood it as the people who recently pre-ordered the v1 would be shipped theirs first not the ones who have already ordered them.

I was talking about invites. It was listed in Fanatec blog that they will send invite codes first to csw v1 owners, then CSR E owners, then other clubsport products owners and then the rest. Since my first post, they have grouped V1 and Elite owners together, so naturally Elite owners will get their invites now first.

I think if you read it closer it says people who have pre-ordered (unshipped) CSW v1 will be the first to receive the v2 as a free upgrade then 2nd to anyone who ordered a csr-e or csw v1 (lumped in together) based off of order date. I believe the csr-e shipped first so that is why they got their codes first.

Nope, directly from the blog.

1. Webshop customers of the CSW B V1 and CSR E (sorted by purchase date)

So V1 and CSR E, not V1 then CSR E.

So it's happening exactly as Fanatec said it would ;)

You didn't read the last sentence of my post. At first, there were four points. (don't remember the exact wording for last two)
  • CSW V1 owners
  • CSR E owners
  • other clubsport product owners
  • The rest of the product owners
They changed their points some time after I made my initial post here wondering why Elite owners got theirs first when it said the opposite at the time on their blog.

You are not really getting what I'm talking about. I know that who recently pre-ordered V1, will get V2 instead and they will get it first. I was talking about invites they started to send out. Answer here is the same I answered above to PzR Slim.
You two are now just seeing edited blog post and of course comment on that without knowing how it was said in the first place. As now everything is as it should have been in the first place, there's no need to argue.

I cannot tell you at the moment. But I am sure you won't regret your purchase ;)

OK, ordered, I hope that wink means what I think it means ;)

Possibly a good time for me to order anyway, because when Scottish independence starts in a few hours :nervous: :scared: , the British pound will probably take a hammering.

So what everyones best educated guess on when the first orders will reach customers. It's only been a day since I ordered but I want it NOW!

Just got an email informing me that I will be getting an email at some stage with a code to Pre-Order the CSWv2 wheel. Awesome! Now hurry up lol!

I just got one of these e-mails as well. Is this code attached to my profile in their website, or can I transfer it? I will not buy the CSWv2 anytime soon (or ever, as a matter of fact), so I'd like to give it to someone.

Well good news to anyone who has a V1 and would like to sell it. I put mine on ebay at $300... it is now at $405 with 3 days left. I never expected more than $350. I will probably end up at $425 by auction close. That is damn good! $75 upgrade to a V2? Yes please! (still waiting for my code though...:( )

You will get a separate email when your code is available in your profile on the Fanatec site.

That's a real good price

I sold my 2 months old V1 for only 299 euro. The guy who bought it gets a new base with only 5-6 hours of use.I guess prices are lower here in europe. The sale is still not final, untill i have corfirmation i can keep the beta V2.

Got my invite code yesterday.

Thomas, if you are lurking... Any hints on whether or not we can look forward to the "Branded F1 Wheel" that you made mention of about a year ago? I know there was a licensing deal between Fanatec and some un-named auto manufacturing company, whatever happened with that?

The base is ordered :D

Now I have to save for a rim because a base alone is nice but not very useful

I've decided I'll get this new base with a formula rim. This is already stretching the budget, I can't convince myself to get the hub and a 30cm OMP aftermarket wheel. Maybe next year...

Actually I think that if Fanatec announce a specific PS4 wheel, then I will be quite happy to have wait a little bit. But if all the wheels will be ps4 compatible, then 918 FTW !!!

And since the base will be available in November, I still have time to save for my future rim.

The Bumer is right. The Fanatec changed the order of dispatch of invitations recently!
I am very disappointed with this decision!
I, like others here, bet (and very expensive) in CSW v1 as a long lasting product ... Very sad not being able to trust people and businesses!

No this isn't right. He clarified later that there's no discernment between CSR-E and CSW owners in terms of invite order. The reason some CSR-E owners are getting invites before CSW owners is that they bought their wheel first. All the CSR-E owners and CSW owners are lumped in a group. From that group the invites go out in order of purchase, regardless of which product you previously purchased. After those invites are all sent, invites will go to people who have bought peripheral products. Again in the order that they were bought. A better way to judge how far or close you are from an invite is to ask people who have gotten one what their purchase date was and compare it to your purchase date. If theirs is close to yours, you shouldn't have too long to wait.
