Jeru the Damaja - come clean
NWA- Straight outta Compton
Public Enemy - Don't believe the hype
Geto Boys - Mind Playin' Tricks

And the list goes on. Still analysing Rakim's lyrics since '86...

Great tracks here but I cannot believe no one mentioned this one....

Lords of the Underground - Chief Rocka

I also see Canibus' first track got no love...

Can-I-Bus - How We Roll

Lyrics are just off the hook in this track!

Hey Blitz, didn't know you were a hip hop head too ! :)

LOTUG and Canibus, awesome tracks. I actually have seen the Lord's twice. The first time must be around '94 in Rotterdam and the last time 2 years ago in Gent. As If time stood still, the crowd went wild on Chief Rocka !

Awesome :) I was just thinking of looking up a concert again a couple of days ago because I havent been to one in ages! I think the best one I've attended was about 4 or 5 years ago when I got to see DITC at the Melkweg. AG, Lord Finesse, O.C. and Diamond-D were there and they brought Roc Raida along as their DJ. First they all did about 30 minute solo acts, then a 30 minute DJ battle with Lord Finesse and Roc Raida. Then to top it off 45 minutes all together and the roof went off the house when "Day One" came blasting through the speakers. Ive seen many more but they gave the best show by far... Although The Roots live, back in the day, was also amazing :D
