Forza Horizon 5 Car Wish List

Given that "Fordzathon" was very... uh... lacking in Fords for rewards, I figured I would cook up alternative playlist rewards, a "what if" essentially, using just Ford seen previously in the franchise, partly 1. cuz that's the likely route PG would go for (probably) and 2. cuz why not?
Anyway, here goes:

2006 Ford GTX1 (Overall): Various leaks and rumors should tell why I'm picking the GTX1 as the overall reward in itself.
1669923380947.png

2007 Ford Shelby GT500 (Summer): This one I'll admit is a bit of a wildcard. I wasn't sure what to put here that would fit the first season, so I figured one of my personal fav Mustangs would do.
1669924732521.png

1978 Ford Mustang II King Cobra (Autumn): Thought it'd be a good fit for Autumn. Some more late 70s muscle cars honestly wouldn't hurt :P
1669924680253.png

1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 (Winter): A bit of FH1 nostalgia to make it through winter. What's not to love?
1669924763065.png

1959 Ford Thunderbird (Spring): The fact that Forza hasn't had a single Thunderbird in over 10 years is honestly baffling. The iconic original (as shown here) was in FM4, while post-360 Forza could've easily had the Turbo Coupe or even the last retro-styled one as a fun cult classic. PG should definitely consider bringing the Thunderbird back for the Mexico setting.

2019 Hyundai iMax N - Vans and utility

2019-Hyundai-iMax-N-Drift-Bus-2.jpg

"One of the most impressive vans in modern times is this one-off performance variant of the iMax to celebrate Hyundai's N brand."

Originally a one-off created by Hyundai Australia as an April Fools' joke, this hot rod of a van is definitely no joke at all, being powered by a 402hp, 3.5-litre V6 equipped with twin turbochargers and features an FR drivetrain linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, therefore being labeled as the "Drift Bus" because of its 50:50 weight distribution which makes it easy to slide this beast through the corners, and to complement this, it is equipped with a heavily-tuned suspension and differential to encourage track performance.

It is able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in around five seconds, and is able to punch its weight despite looking like a people's carrier being able to haul at least eight people. And because the iMax (Grand Starex in other countries) has been given the N-treatment, the seats were replaced with lighter materials, such as suede, and has been given an aerodynamic upgrade such as an updated rear bumper, skirts, splitter, and sports wheels.

Unfortunately, as stated before, the iMax N was only a one-off vehicle, and thus, Hyundai have no plans to mass-produce this model, only remaining a one-time, one-off vehicle which participated in Australian time attacks. But one can imagine the potential of this vehicle to become the ultimate production sleeper that can do it all, tear through tracks with style and finesse, then haul groceries, and bring the kids home. Had the iMax N been in production, expect the price tag to be very steep due to its heavy sporting and performance appeal.

Speaking of FORDZATHON...
Four new Fords or returning ones would be much better than the three Renaults (why not the Clio V6, at least it's something different...)

And those are my picks in a better world..

Another day, another expansion idea

Expansion Idea: The Horizon High Life Expansion

  • Major feature of this expansion is brand new and expanded houses.
  • High Life Island features a gorgeous coastal city and lovely backroads leading to a stunning mexican mountainside. 1.5x times the size of Fortune Island.
  • These houses now function much more like TDU2. Each house on High Life Island has a fully explorable garage. Each garage can store multiple cars, minimum being 2, maximum being 10. You are fully free to place any cars from your my cars tab in these slots, open the doors/forzavista, customize, paint etc.
  • Each house saves your display cars. So one house could be full of Ferraris, next one Cult Classics, next one Off-Roaders etc.
  • Each house has places on the walls to hang up your own in game photos and a trophy cabinet for displaying in game achievements.
  • First game in Forza History in which you can walk around in these garages and see other players too. You can invite others to your garages - players can then challenge you to a race or download your displayed car(s) specific tune/livery.
  • Expansion is based around going to this island and taking over clubs based around using the most luxury cars from C, B, A, S1 and S2 class in the game
  • All new clothes added (new shop on the island)
  • All new Mansory car customization added to the game
  • Features two new race types - Lap Knockout and Multi-Class Championships.

Theme: Kei Icons
Contains some of the most iconic Japanese kei cars in history.

(All cars are new to Forza.)

New division: Kei cars

2017 Honda N-Box Custom - Kei cars
honda-n-box-custom-2017-2022-1624336575.3501263.jpg

One of the best-selling kei cars in Japan in recent times, if not, all time, would have to be the Honda N-Box, with more than 1.7 million examples sold since its inception in 2013. The "N" comes from Honda's N series from the 60s and 70s. The model you see here is the front-wheel drive Custom L Turbo variant, powered by a 660cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a smooth power delivery and CVT transmission, producing 63 horsepower, the maximum output of any production Kei vehicle. The unique styling, ride quality, maximization of space, practicality, ease of customization and smooth power delivery are among a few factors why the N-Box sells like hotcakes in its native Japan, and this makes this one-of-a-kind machine a true icon that matches up with some of the all-time Kei car greats.

1991 Honda Beat - Kei cars
th.jpg

The Honda Beat, along with the Mazda Autozam and Suzuki Cappuccino, are known to be the among Kei sports car trio, or Kei ABC's, and that in recent times, they were referred to as "American immigrants" due to their popularity with American car collectors ever since they were legal to be imported. It also has an important history as well, with the car bearing some similarities to the Ferrari F40 - being the last car to be witnessed and approved by Soichiro Honda before his passing, and that it was designed by Pininfarina. Its fellow rivals may have been powered by turbocharged engines, but given Honda's expertise in engine design, they chose the tried-and-tested naturally aspirated approach, giving the car a more high-revving roar that set it apart. In many ways, it can also be considered the spiritual successor to the iconic S800 from 1970, which had been featured in past Forza titles.

1992 Mazda Autozam AZ-1 - Kei cars
Screen Shot 2023-02-26 at 12.55.10 PM.png

As Mazda were steadily hard at work with the Miata and RX series during the most part of the 80s and 90s, one such vehicle tends to be underestimated, and that would have to be the AZ-1 from their Autozam sub-brand. In some cases, this car was also branded as the Suzuki Cara, as it had used the same engine as the Alto, but the more popular and well-known version of this car was definitely from Mazda. Powering the car was a 660cc, 63-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder engine that gave it torque and character like no other. It also featured gullwing doors, commonly used on exotics, mostly for ease of use and better practicality, as it wasn't just for show. A Mazdaspeed variant, known as the A-spec, was also released with specialized aero parts and a more aggressive suspension setup, which proved that while it may look like one cute machine, one must not underestimate its potential to be a very beastly car when tuned right. Like its fellow rivals, the Honda Beat and Suzuki Cappuccino, being that of the Kei ABC's, it has gained a cult following amongst American car enthusiasts and collectors ever since they have been legal to import.

1997 Subaru Vivio RX-R - Kei cars
20160313185045a7e.jpg

Compared to the iconic Kei sports car trio, the Subaru Vivio RX-R seems to be built different, being based around a hatchback-like body to begin with. The name comes from the Roman numerals for six and zero (VI, VI and O), an allusion to its 660cc engine, which is common for Kei cars. The Vivio RX-R was indeed Subaru's best-known Kei car since the 360 Deluxe/Young SS of the 60s, and has that typical Subaru flair: being that of an all-wheel drive machine, just like the Impreza, Legacy and their best-known rally cars. What also set it apart was that the Vivio uses a supercharged engine, normally unheard of in most Kei cars where most were either turbocharged or naturally aspirated, allowing it to stand out from all the rest.

1991 Suzuki Cappuccino (EA11R) - Kei cars
Suzuki_Cappuccino_front_20090514_suzuki+cappuccino.jpg

Up there with the likes of the Swift Sport, Alto and Jimny, the Cappuccino may well be among Suzuki's most famous cars. Being a member of the Kei ABC's, or the Kei sports car trio of the 1990's, the Cappuccino was unique for being the only front-engined example of the bunch, while it still retained the familiar 63-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder and lightweight driving character. It was also an icon of pop culture, as well, being featured in the Initial D anime and manga, beginning with Fourth Stage. It was said that in 1992, when Bugatti was under Italian ownership, they decided to create a more market-friendly version of the Cappuccino called the Espresso, which would have been sold in both Europe and Japan, but the project was canceled when the Italian-owned incarnation of Bugatti went bankrupt three years later, and was sold to Volkswagen, along with their return to France. Nonetheless, the Cappuccino is capable of almost unlimited customization, and demands to be raced. It had a resurgence of popularity, especially with American car collectors, ever since it became legal to import after the car had reached 25 years old.

Since we will get the 2001 Ford Focus WRC for the second expansion as the only rally car, we desperately need more real rally spec cars like this :
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4 Group A 1997 :

Ford Escort WRC 1997 :

Subaru Impreza WRC 1997 :

Toyota Corolla WRC 1998 :

Peugeot 206 WRC 2003 :

Decided to cook up a VW-oriented playlist after seeing the discussion on the General Discussion thread, featuring some old cars, one new car and a... potentially rescanned old car?
Summer: 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLX
I don't recall exactly but IIRC there was a leak involving an 03 Jetta GLX being mentioned rather than a Bora VR6 - a Jetta GLX has been previously featured in Forza Motorsport... 1. Seeing as this generation of Jetta is very popular in Mexico (it's comparable to that of the much-requested Tsuru), maybe the devs have already done a rescan of one of these it's just that they haven't released it yet? If that's the case, this playlist would be an excuse to finally release it, along with (in all likelyhood) some Fast and Furious-esque visual customization and (considerably less likely) a Ludacris rapping "I'm too fast for y'all man" as icing on the cake.
1679471881952.png

Autumn: 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco 16v
Not gonna lie, it is a bit weird how we haven't got this version of the Scirocco since FM7. The OG may be more popular (I guess) but that hasn't stopped Forza devs from adding more unusual cars even in recent times, so...
1679471906689.png

Winter: 2008 Volkswagen Touareg R50
Well... it's an SUV. With a diesel V10, no less. Sounds to me like a good candidate for thrashing around the little snow Mexico has.
1679472115880.png

Spring: 1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
Arguably, the epitome of "all show and no go". It's anything but fast, but it's such a good looker you just don't care. If you do care about it's performance though, well... Forza's upgrade system exist. Just swap in a Porsche GT3 engine and then proceed to make kilometer-long wheelies with it. Duh.
1679472281352.png

Seasonal, 80 points: 2022 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
I'll admit, this may seem like an odd inclusion, especially seeing as we haven't gotten the Mk8 Golf R (yet), but if we were to get a Mk4 Jetta as part of the playlist, why not tie it together with the latest Jetta (GLI)? Also, this game seriously does. Not. Have. Enough. Low-end "'Super' Saloons" like the Sentra Nismo and the Lynk & Co 03+. They not only neatly fit people's desires for more "ordinary" cars, they're also fun to drive and upgrade in my experience. A Jetta GLI would be a much welcome addition in this regard.
1679472507678.png

Seasonal, 160 points: 2018 Volkswagen #94 Volkswagen Motorsport I.D R Pikes Peak
...do I even need to say anything? The car speaks for itself. Mexico has a long, winding mountain road (and "hillclimb" race event). It's a match made in heaven. Plus, if you're the kind of guy AR12 suspects wouldn't be interested in any of the cars above (aka most of his fanbase), this would prob keep your mind at peace. I hope. Atleast for a brief period of time.
1679472534628.png

STELLANTIS - THE RETURN
This series would bring Forza's partnership with Stellantis (formerly FCA and PSA) up to speed, along with the return of Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia, which would be added as part of a free (or paid) car pack, in a similar fashion to how Mitsubishi was readded to FH4. This may be unrealistic but I can't really see the re-addition of so many cars working for a single playlist (I was thinking of having every Abarth, Alfa, Fiat and Lancia from FH4 return in this pack), so this'll have to do.
Chrysler, Citroën and DS would also make a return, and here I felt like you could (just about) make up a feasible playlist, along with a format I came up with - 20 points would give you a new to Forza car, while 40 points would grant you a car you've seen before in the franchise (sortof as a nice additional reward) for a total of 10 cars (5 new, 5 returning).
Anyway, here goes nothing:
Summer, 20 points: 2003 Citroën Xsara WRC
This was the car that gave Citroën - and later, Sébastien Loeb (notably, the most successful driver in WRC history) - their first WRC championships in their respective categories. That alone makes the car worthy of an addition in my book. Also helps that we've already got the McRae Focus, which could do with a contemporary rival in the game. Oh and it kicks off the playlist with a literal bang, so there's that too.
1688224865171.png
Summer, 40 points: 1970 Citroën 2CV
Pretty self-explanatory. Wankel-powered FWD burnouts, here I come!
1688225265800.png

Autumn, 20 points: 2022 Chrysler Pacifica
The car that's currently keeping the Chrysler brand afloat. And a minivan in a game which does has one (Wuling Sunshine) but more is plenty welcome. While I personally prefer the way the pre-facelift looks, I figure Chrysler/Stellantis would prefer to promote the newer model + it's available with AWD - cross country with 8 people when??
1688225498801.png

Autumn, 40 points: 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8
And now, a car that's soon gonna stop production - in essence, a more luxurious, slower version of the Charger Hellcat we've currently got - though that's far from a bad thing. If anything, it means it'll most likely be nicer to upgrade to a certain class, and probably nicer to drive as a result too.
1688225588359.png

Winter, 20 points: 1973 Citroën SM
I don't know if there's some complications regarding Citroën and Maserati with this car (like there is with the Mercedes SLR), but this swansong of pre-Peugeot Citroën sure has taken its time to appear in... well... any game officially, let alone Forza. I don't know how many people would enjoy the SM in the Democratic Republic of Playground Games, but being able to drive it virtually for the first time would be quite nice regardless, not to mention an impressive achievement.
1688226033906.png

Winter, 40 points: 1975 Citroën DS 23
I get it, the DS was (presumably) added before the Stellantis malakey came into full swing. That being said, it still sucks to not be able to drive it in Mexico when it was added to the UK mere months before FH5 was released :indiff:
1688226114095.png
Spring, 20 points: 1955 Chrysler C-300
Considered one of the first muscle cars, apparently. And it's super-valuable today, for good reason too (in essence, an American gullwing Mercedes). And 1950s America could use some Forza love, feels a bit empty there to be honest.
1688226211446.png

Spring, 40 points: 1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49
Speaking of Forza love... More 'straya never hurts, eh?
1688226338771.png

Seasonal, 80 points: 2023 DS Automobiles DS7 E-Tense 360
I was contemplating what new car from DS could be added for Forza, and eventually I figured the DS7 (formerly called the DS7 Crossback) would do nicely. Not only is it the first car developed specifically for DS after previous DS models had just been rebadged Citroën's, but also the car that turned around DS' finanical fortunes - the "Citroën's" didn't sell very well. With a 2022 facelift adding a 360 hp hybrid powertrain option, the DS7 could very well be a fun performer in the lower end of the "Sports Utility Heroes" class. Well, I would have fun thrashing it around, atleast.
1688226536446.png

Seasonal, 160 points: 2011 DS Automobiles DS3 Racing
Slightly confusing title (thanks licensing agreements!), awesome hot hatch, 10/10 colour scheme. Très bien!

Definitely love the latest Land Cruiser (2024 250 Series Prado), and I believe Toyota did some retro styling comparable to that of how well the Nissan Z was designed. Forza definitely needs more Land Cruisers, both in Horizon and Motorsport.

Korean Automotive (creative name, I know)
Since FH5 launched 2 years ago, there has been one – yes, ONE - Korean car: the 2019 Hyundai Veloster N. To be fair, it's a cool car, but given South Korea’s prominence in the automotive world (it’s the 5th largest car producer in the world), I think the nation deserves some better representation. Just keep in mind that I’m referring to cars from Korean brands here, rather than cars made in Korea – certain GM cars like the Chevrolet Trax are made there. Also, I’m keeping things somewhat realistic and feature brands that exist today, so no Oullim Spirra (though it would be quite sweet to get it). Anyway, with that out of the way, here goes:
Summer, 20 points: 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
If there’s a car you should kick the playlist off with, this should frankly be it. An all-electric, 640 hp hot hatch – or super hatch, as some might put it – with emulated car noise and even gearbox. I do wonder how the devs would implement those aspects, if they do it at all. I doubt it’d be like in the real thing where it’s something you can toggle on or off, but we shall see.
1700491732594.png

Autumn, 20 points: 2018 Kia Stinger
Why this thing isn’t already in FH5 genuinely boggles my mind. A bit slow perhaps (certainly compared to BMW M cars), but what a beautiful car. Good in the corners too, from what I’ve heard.
1700491777779.png

Winter, 20 points: 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe
People keeps asking for regular cars, (relatively) few people tend to ask for regular SUVs. Which, given the open world go-anywhere nature of Forza Horizon, is something I do find a bit odd. That being said, even if the Santa Fe is a regular SUV nameplate, the latest one is honestly something worthy of being in a video game for its looks alone. Maybe the forthcoming snowball fight on the volcano won’t be so dull after all, who knows?
1700491839962.png

Spring, 20 points: 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track
I’ll be honest, I don’t know if there is some Hyundai-Genesis related problems with licensing (not counting Gran Turismo cuz, well, they’re a special case), but my god do I want this back. In essence, it’s a Korean Infiniti G35/G37 (another car I want in FH), with a large V6 to boot. That, and Tony Banks-penned keyboard solos. Ok maybe not the last bit but one can atleast listen to those while driving.
1700491875148.png

Seasonal, 80 points: 2022 Genesis G70
Speaking of Genesis, I wanted to feature this brand somehow – Hyundai would after all appreciate some marketing for this brand. The G70 is technically little more than a upscale Kia Stinger, but at the same time, who doesn’t like a bit of sibling rivalry? Besides, it does look distinct enough to be a worthy addition on it’s own (I think so, anyway). Think Audi-VW or Toyota-Lexus, not Lamborghini Huracan variation number 500.
1700491936553.png

And, now for the South Korea Car Pack (again, very creative name), featuring some more spicy new-to-Forza Korean cars:
2024 Hyundai Elantra N
Newly facelifted, and a worthwile addition to the low-end super saloons batch I love so very much. Can't really complain about this one, can you?
1700493312212.png

2023 Hyundai Staria
Arguably, the best looking minivan sold anywhere in the world (in my opinion, of course). Also, more minivans in Forza Horizon is always welcome.
1700493488278.png

2024 Kia EV9
All-new, all-electric (though more traditional than the Ioniq), massive chonker. Give it a Rimac swap and you’ll send a family flying across Mexico - regardless of terrain, really.
1700493595396.png

2020 Kia Soul Turbo
Oldest model of the pack? Check. Still cool? Also check. I’ll admit, I do have a soft-spot for Kia Souls, and in Turbo guise (which unfortunately was discontinued recently) I can imagine this thing being quite fun to drive IRL. One can only imagine then how it’d be like in Forza...

I love that Elfin, a real quirky looking car.

The Elfin brings back memories, as I used to drive it a lot in PGR3. One other car I can suggest for Australian Automotive would be the Joss JT1 (returning), but I think that's wishful thinking as Joss are most likely defunct now.

1: 1998 Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution

The Evolution, an SUV built to win the Dakar Rally. This was by no means just a cosmetic upgrade model, it was a monster with greatly improved performance.

2: 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 SS/T

The roots of the Ram SRT. Its cool style and performance are underrated in the racing game history.

3: 1981 AMC Eagle SX/4

Coupe-style SUVs are a common category today. However, AMC manufactured them 40 years ago.
Mercedes, BMW, you guys are too late to realize the demand for this category!

4: 2000 Toyota Chaser Tourer V

I have been hoping that this car will be added to Forza since the Xbox 360 era. It's like the BMW M3 in Japan.
With its intimidating style and powerful turbocharged engine, it is one of the legends of drifting, along with the Silvia and AE86.
Only with the addition of this cool saloon will the Toyota lineup in Forza be complete.

5: 1981 Cadillac Coupe Deville

Oh, you don't have to tell me.
"Cadillac doesn't belong in a racing game," right?
I'm well aware of that. But I am a lowrider enthusiast, and I am in love with the straight lines of the Cadillacs of this era.
Slammed this classic saloon to the ground and swapped in an LS. Finish it off with a cool lowrider style paint job.
This is one of those cars that I admire more than any hypercar.

6: 2022 Genesis G80 Sport

Until now, Korean cars have had a strong image of being mass-market vehicles.
However, Hyundai has created a wonderful premium saloon.
A new challenger to Lexus, Infiniti, and Mercedes and Audi.
This car would be one of the great premium saloons to be added to the Forza.

7: 2022 GMC Hummer EV

The name Hummer was once almost synonymous with destroyer of the earth.
It had a huge body and a large displacement diesel engine. It was a car that was far from eco-friendly.
However, the monster of the past has returned as the leader of GMC's new strategy.
The Hummer has been revived as an eco-friendly EV while maintaining the tough brand image and style of the past.
It is not just a vegan-friendly car, it remains a beast with acceleration performance that rivals the Audi R8, and off-road performance as good as the Hummer of the past.

8: 1992 Mazda Autozam AZ-1

Gullwing doors, mid-engine layout, and a lightweight FRP body.
What would you call it if not a supercar?
This car does not have a 5-liter V12 engine, nor does it have the performance to exceed 300 km/h.
However, its lightness and ferocity are definitely those of a supercar, and it will give us a sense of fun that does not yet exist in the Forza series.

9: 1973 Volkswagen do Brasil SP2

A very beautiful VW born in South America.
There is nothing noteworthy about the performance. However, this beauty is as good as Karman Ghia.

10: 1996 Renault Sport Spider

Renault is one of the French brands that is relatively favored in the Forza series.
However, this car has yet to appear in Forza.
A lightweight and compact midship sports car. If this car is added, Forza will have another French car other than a hatchback.
I'd like to congratulate you on getting so many of your Wishlist in game by now. Impressive.

Personally I only have a few cars I really want to get, since the Aston DBX, F-Type SVR and Project 8 were already added.

1. 2004 McLaren Mercedes SLR
It's top of the Wishlist on the official forums for good reason, but I guess licensing makes it very difficult to have anymore. Such a shame. The engine note is awesome.

1727619340728.png

2. 2024 Ferrari Purosangue
It may be a strange thing, but it's crazy not to have Ferrari's first sort-of-SUV in a Horizon game.

1727619511339.png

3. 2024 Porsche 911 Dakar
It's a very flexible and robust thing which can go almost anywhere. And just a bit of fun. Perfect for Horizon.

1727619588575.png

4. 2022 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato
Like the Porsche Dakar, it's completely suited to Horizon. And also really cool. And with it we have pretty much the full set of Huracans :D

1727619764403.png

P.S. It was also mentioned earlier in the thread, but I would be fine having a high quality scan of a Spijker C8 Aileron too. Just imagine this cockpit in game, with the propeller steering wheel of course:

Dia de los Muertos Car Pack

The models (and the brands that built them) may be gone, but they're certainly not forgotten. Honor their memories by taking them for a spin through the land that celebrates the departed, their lives and their legacies this time each year.

DISCO UPDATE
Well, lemme just say this. I’m a bit of a fan of post-oil crisis 70s muscle cars like the Mustang King Cobra – slow, but oh so good looking. And seeing that car suggested in the General Discussion thread got me thinking of what such cars are missing in Forza (Horizon or otherwise). As for why it’s called the ”Disco Update”, I was thinking you could tie these cars in with a disco/funk-themed radio station, either playing classics like ”Stayin Alive” or more modern neo-disco stuff like Purple Disco Machine (or both). This way, you atleast get some good, new music even if you dislike the cars themselves – a win-win if you ask me. Anyway, on to the cars:
SUMMER, 20 points: 1974 Ford Gran Torino
I mean… I think we all know why I’m featuring this one as the headliner. Even if we don’t get the single red light on it, its still a winner.
1729161189490.png

AUTUMN: 1973 Plymouth Road Runner
A bit of a wildcard, but I really like the way these look. Don’t ask me why. Also, I am aware this technically is a pre-oil crisis car (though it could be featured as a post-oil crisis 1974 model), but still. It's in the ballpark. It'd have no problem fitting right in.
1729161404961.jpeg

WINTER: 1978 Dodge Lil’ Red Express Truck
Muscle truck? Muscle truck. It was to be fair one of the faster muscle "cars" of its era thanks to a emissions-related loophole - it was even faster than contemporary Corvettes. Maybe with some upgrades it could beat modern Corvettes as well, who knows?

1729161452217.png

SPRING: 1979 AMC AMX (Spirit)
More AMC means more good in my book. Technically the Spirit would live on as the Eagle SX/4, but as cool as that thing is it only got an inline 6 at best. A damn good inline 6 mind you (the 4.2 is notoriously reliable), but if it doesn’t have a V8 could you really call it a muscle car? Today, maybe (thanks to the phasing out of ICE), but with past cars, nah. Not really.
1729161617289.png

OVERALL: 1974 Dodge Monaco
”Muscle” might be stretching it with the Dodge Monaco, but once again, its a rather iconic 70s movie car. You could forgive it not being a muscle car though since 1. its still got a V8, and 2. you could give it some spicy engine swaps to compromise. I think the 8.9L monster truck engine would fit it like ketchup fits on a hot dog, but thats just me. Oh, and don't forget the Monaco's mustard - a nice light bar (don't ask me why I'm doing food metaphors all of a sudden )!

1729162266491.jpeg
Just some extra notes:
No King Cobra – I’ve already mentioned it before in a previous car suggestion post. Besides, it could (or could not) appear in a future Mustang-themed update. Not that I know how likely that is, but still.
No GM – well… the 1979 Camaro and 1977 Trans Am suggests GM of the period is already pretty well represented in Forza, so no need to go there.
