This is the only video that shows what I'm dealing with. My DD Pro Extreme has been on the regular DD pro settings in-game because that's all that has been available. This guy is having the same problem after 1.46 update. I'm gonna use the proper wheel setting now but my wheel does this, at times, 1 to 2 times per lap. I have to pop my wheel off and back on quickly to continue. I'm gonna post one of soon.

Well my videos won't upload. However, after weeks of troubleshooting and no real driving. My son and I finally have things lined out. There were so many firmware issues, its a wonder I could drive at all. I literally had every known issue amd a few unknowns lol.
I was able to finish all the weeklies in 2 hours. I haven't been able complete all 5 for months. And Fanatec wasn't any help lol. Still have small adjustments to make and I lost my settings and getting used to new ones. Thanks for the help.

The Alpine A110 '72 is for sale in the used car dealership, if you don't have it go and buy it cause you are going to need it next week for the rally season. It is a very good car to have.
And by the way, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce '67 is there also, grab it if you don't have it. It is also a very good car.

Do you remember where you got the car, and you shortchanged the pp on the tune, any reason for that? Just curious, it looks like fun to drive.

Ray-Ray, are you still fighting with your wheelbase? "Wheel disconnected" issues where the clamp no longer holds the qr shaft and its hidden usb-c connection tightly? I was dealing with much the same thing and fixed it finally with a $14 clamp from Amazon. The cheapo aluminum version Fanatec sources had stretched to the point that its ends actually touched! The Amazon unit is tool steel. On top of that, it is a superior 2 piece, 2-bolt design that clamps much more evenly. Anyways, the upshot is ~3 weeks or so since installation and no problems since at all. I highly recommend this solution to anyone with these wheelbases. I've been recommending it every chance I get. Please forgive if I'm repeating myself here, lol.

I've had issues since i purchased it. My son helped fix the firmware and conflict issues. I had been driving this whole time. Never having owned anything like this, the learning curve is a circle lol. But I've had no issues since.
 
I am sorry to say I won't be joining any more group races until I can figure out party voice chat. It pisses me off to no end that I'm the only person that can't figure it out and it's apparently so obvious and simple no one bothered with directions for those of us with the simple mind. Last time I raced with you guys voice chat popped up auto magically on my phone thru the PS app! Before then it was always a struggle. This week, here I find myself again struggling and I'm mad about it.
I like the "must have voice chat to join" rule and I think it's a good rule. Which means, in the end it seems I'm just to stupid to race so until I get past this mental block I am out.
Btw, Mark_us; nice job on the Bazooka Joe livery! I was proud to show it off until I ran into your drivers door. 😖 Totally my bad. I hope giving your position back was at least a token of me owning my fault. I hope also that i didn't adversely affect your finish.

Start PS5
entering the game is not necessary
press the PS button
Go to GAME BASE - click
now move your cursor down to the headset icon
If there is a party OPEN that you can join, click on JOIN
If you know a party is open but you don't see it, send a friend request to someone you know is in the party.

...went thru all the steps you outlined (thank you for taking the time btw). I must've msgd the wrong ppl or somehow did that part wrong. I got no responses. /shrug feces occur. That's life. It really bums me out though. I'm sitting here in front of the running game and can't think of anything I feel like doing.

Wow,, it's much more challenging to join chat via PS5 than with our outdated PS4. A GREAT key to remember,, when the guy says "DON'T LEAVE THE GROUP MAN",, that is key. When the chat is shut down it ends BUT the next time it is opened everyone gets a notice.

Imo, it's far too challenging. I'm personally challenged well into the point of frustration. And that frustration has grown to the point that I don't really feel like playing gt7 and in fact is making me look at my whole investment into sim racing with some resentment. Thanks Sony, or PD, or my own mental short-comings... idk how to regain enough enthusiasm to work through this. That's what I need before anything else.
 
Without voice chat, no offense meant to anybody, I may as well be racing AI and I may as well be an AI bot to the rest of the co-communicating group.

Following the steps you outlined, when I click on the headphone icon, I get 1 party chat that says something about last active some time in April and below that a list of my in-game friends. Clicking on the 1 party chat icon I have does absolutely nothing. And while I appreciate the occasional party invites, like I just saw notification of, happen randomly and without any notice and they go away quickly making them futile efforts, but thanks for trying.
 
Lol, figures... I accidently found my way into party chat - on my phone. I don't even have my PS5 running so cannot race and I'm so pissed off over the ordeal idk what I did to be able to do it again later.

Luiz sent you an invite to today's party while we were racing, but you weren't online with your PS5 to act on Luiz invitation. The list of old parties will do nothing for you if you click on them since those are in the past.
 
So I was thinking on how strange it was that I stumbled onto voice chat today when I wasn't even playing on my PS5 at all, gt7 included, when it dawned on me that last time I had this issue when I stumbled onto vc while racing with you guys it was ...on my phone. Somehow, that works without me even trying. Perhaps with my PS app open? Idk but I'm gonna give it another try soon. I want to thank you guys for putting up with my rant, and to Luiz and Mr. pmallard for taking time to help.

On Sunday after our morning of racing, Richard, Markus, Cory and I had a discussion about the Stability Parameters that appear on the Setup Sheet for each car as to what it is, what affects it and what the best parameters should be. After reviewing a few cars we agreed that the ideal parameters should be for "Low Speed" 0.00 and for "High Speed" -1.00 or as close to these numbers as possible.

This coming Thursday, I have an evening of racing using the Ferrari 512 BB 1976. The parameters for the vehicle are: 580PP, Sport Tires and 2712 LBS. Everything else is optional and open parameters. So I bought a used one from the Used Cars Dealership. Tested it at the Glen and it is quite pathetic. So, one at a time, I bought options from the Tuning Shop and GT Auto and the document attached shows how I went from a Low Speed Parameters of -0.46 and High Speed Parameters of -0.37 to parameters of -0.01 and -1.00 respectively. After a few more changes to the suspension to suit my driving (these changes don't impact Stability somehow) the vehicle is now very stable. I also tested the suspension settings from Priaino and the vehicle is very stable.

This is only one car but at least I have now a better understanding of the stability parameters on the Setup sheet and what affects it.
